Lee Fate vs Neil Garrick

Boxing Daily Report from the Hennessy Boxing promoted show at Melbourne Pattillo, Melbourne,  taking place on 18/12/2043:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Australia-Victoria Flyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Lee Fate (18(7) - 17(7)) who hails from Melbourne, Australia and Neil Garrick(6 - 3(1) - 2) from Melbourne, Australia.  Fate weighed in at 112 pounds, while Garrick weighed in at 111 pounds and 1 ounces.  
The referee tonight is James Tarbert, and the three ringside judges are Dom Clapperton, Paul Lawrie and David Archie.  

Round 1: 

Fate advances into close range and lands a left hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents head.

Garrick tries to step out of his opponents range.  Fate lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.  
Fate feints a left, and then lands a right hook to the body followed by a right uppercut to the head.  
Fate is on target with a left hook.  Fate ties up his opponent.  Fate leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Fate is looking to close the distance.  Fate quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Fate lands a left hook to the head, a right hook to the body and a left hook to the head.  Fate clinches his opponent.  Fate leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Fate lands a left uppercut to the body followed by a right hook to the head, AND HIS OPPONENT IS HURT!  Fate holds on to his opponent.  Fate throws a hook within the clinch but hits his opponent behind the head. Fate is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref separates the two fighters.  
Fate sees his opponent is hurt.  He's looking for the finish!  Fate whips in a spiteful left hook to his opponents body.  DOWN GOES GARRICK!  He beats the count, getting up at 5.  Garrick now seems to have recovered from the bodyshot.  
Fate walks his opponent down, trapping him on the ropes.  Fate lands two right hooks to the body, and one to the head.  
Fate is on target with a left hook.  
Fate manouvers his opponent onto the ropes.  Fate lands a firm cross.  
Fate gets on the inside and is on target with a left uppercut to Garrick's body.  Fate holds on to his opponent.  Fate leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref breaks Fate's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Fate pivots to the left of his opponent and lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Fate advances into close range and lands a left hook.  
Fate lands a left hook to the body followed by a cross to the head.  
Garrick steps away from his opponent.  Fate sidesteps to the left of his opponent and connects with a cross.  
Fate steps inside and lands a right hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents head.  
Fate is looking to close the distance and lands a double left hook to his opponents head.  Fate clinches his opponent.  Fate leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref breaks Fate's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Fate pivots to the left of his opponent.  Garrick throws a left hook, but Fate ties up his opponent.  Fate leans on his opponent using all his weight. The referee breaks the clinch and warns Fate to stop holding.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Garrick's trainer is advising how he could improve the accuracy of his work.  Garrick's trainer is telling his fighter he is being outworked and needs to throw more.  Garrick's trainer is advising how he could stop so many clean shots getting through.

Fate pivots from in front of his opponent and is on target with a stinging left hook to his opponents body.  
Fate closes the distance.  Fate sidesteps to the right of his opponent and lands a right hook to the head, a left hook to the head and a left hook to the body.  
Fate lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Fate lands a left hook.  
Fate drives a right hook into his opponents ribcage.  
Fate closes the distance and lands a right hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents head.  He then lands two right hooks to his opponents ribs.  HE HAS HIS OPPONENT IN TROUBLE!  Garrick almost instantly recovers. 
Fate lands a left uppercut to the head, a right hook to the body and a right uppercut to the body, AND SENDS GARRICK SPRAWLING TO THE CANVAS!  He manages to get up at 5.  
Fate stalks his opponent...he just needs the right shot to put his opponent away!  Fate whips in a spiteful right uppercut to his opponents body.  GARRICK IS DOWN!  He is back up on his feet at 5.  
Garrick now seems to have recovered from the bodyshot.  
Fate connects with a sharp right hook.  
Fate lands a left hook followed by  two right hooks to his opponents head.  
Fate lands a left hook to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  
Fate lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Fate gets on the inside and manouvers his opponent onto the ropes.  Fate digs in a right hook to his opponents body.  
Garrick pivots to the right of his opponent.  Fate lands a left uppercut to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  HE HAS HIS OPPONENT IN TROUBLE!  
Fate is looking for the shot to finish his opponent.  Fate lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents body, AND DROPS GARRICK!  The ref does not even bother with the count...he's seen enough!  The fight has been stopped!  The winner by TKO is Fate!
