Cuba Barragan vs Santiago Socarras

Boxing Daily Report from the Ruzgeryan Promotions promoted show at Santo Domingo de Guz Vicente, Santo Domingo de Guzman,  taking place on 23/12/2043:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Dominican Republic-Distrito Nacional Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Cuba Barragan (15 - 13 - 3) who hails from Santo Domingo de Guzman, Dominican Republic and Santiago Socarras(17 - 10 - 6) from Santo Domingo de Guzman, Dominican Republic.  Barragan weighed in at 146 pounds and 2 ounces, while Socarras weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Juan Claros, and the three ringside judges are Berto Ferro, Santiago Cura and Enzo Montes.
