Naoki Morishita vs Kenji Matsushima

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Japan-Chiba promoted show at Ichikawa Hironaka, Ichikawa,  taking place on 27/12/2043:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Japan-Chiba Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Naoki Morishita (13(6) - 5(2)) who hails from Matsudo, Japan and Kenji Matsushima(2 - 6 - 2) from Kashiwa, Japan.  Both Morishita and Matsushima weighed in at 135 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Kaede Ishimoto, and the three ringside judges are Ichiro Yamada, Eiji Ozaki and Michi Anzai.

At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Matsushima's trainer is telling his fighter he needs to be more active or he's going to get outworked.  Matsushima's trainer is advising how he could stop so many clean shots getting through.

Morishita digs in a powerful right uppercut to Matsushima's body.  MATSUSHIMA IS DOWN!  He beats the count, getting up at 9.  Matsushima now seems to have recovered from the bodyshot.

Matsushima is getting frustrated here.   He steps in close and swings a low uppercut into Morishita's groin!  The ref tells Matsushima to keep his punches above the belt.  He gives Morishita time to recover.

Matsushima is not fighting as well as he'd like.    He throws a hook, and catches Morishita low!  The ref takes no action over the foul, despite complaints from Morishita.
