Ichiro Kono vs Goro Higashi

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Japan-Hokkaido promoted show at Sapporo Matsuoka, Sapporo,  taking place on 28/12/2043:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Japan-Hokkaido Bantamweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Ichiro Kono (13 - 6(1) - 1) who hails from Sapporo, Japan and Goro Higashi(8 - 9 - 4) from Sapporo, Japan.  Both Kono and Higashi weighed in at 118 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Nori Itoh, and the three ringside judges are Yutaka Omura, Fumio Ogura and Raiden Takamoto.
