Matt Lozoya vs Ewan Smith

Boxing Daily Report from the AI USA-Arizona promoted show at Scottsdale Weatherhead, Scottsdale,  taking place on 03/01/2044:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the USA-Arizona Super Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Matt Lozoya (13 - 9 - 1) who hails from Phoenix, USA and Ewan Smith(9 - 7(2) - 3) from Peoria, USA.  Both Lozoya and Smith weighed in at 140 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Phil Sim, and the three ringside judges are Venacio Abeita, Dave Brodrick and Hilario Marina.  

Round 1: 

Lozoya feints a left, and then attempts to land a jab, but Smith blocks the shot and counters with a right uppercut.

Smith drops his guard, and stalks his opponent...he wants his opponent to throw a shot.  Lozoya is on target with a cross.  Lozoya throws a cross, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a right uppercut.
