Ian Tinkler vs Spencer Sloan

Boxing Daily Report from the Kronk Gym II promoted show at Detroit Hojnacki, Detroit,  taking place on 06/01/2044:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the USA-Michigan Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Ian Tinkler (32(15) - 5(3)) who hails from Grand Rapids, USA and Spencer Sloan(8 - 6(3) - 4) from Grand Rapids, USA.  Tinkler weighed in at 147 pounds, while Sloan weighed in at 147 pounds and 15 ounces.    As Sloan came in over the weight limit, only his opponent will be able to compete for the final eliminator position tonight.  
The referee tonight is James Haddow, and the three ringside judges are John Kennan, Chris Perk and Mike Craig.  

Round 1: 

Tinkler feints a left, and then lands a left hook followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Tinkler steps inside and digs in a firm left uppercut to Sloan's body.  
Tinkler is on target with a right hook.  
Tinkler closes the distance and is on target with a left uppercut to his opponents body.  
Tinkler drives a stinging right hook into Sloan's body.  
Tinkler drives a right hook into his opponents body.  Tinkler ties up his opponent.  Tinkler is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref breaks Tinkler's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Tinkler lands a left uppercut to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  
Tinkler lands a left uppercut to the body followed by a right hook to the head.  Tinkler ties up his opponent.  Tinkler pushes his forearm into Sloan's face.  The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.

Tinkler lands a left uppercut followed by  two right hooks to his opponents body.  HE HAS HIS OPPONENT IN TROUBLE!  Sloan almost instantly recovers. 
Tinkler gets on the inside and lands two right hooks to his opponents ribs.  Tinkler holds on to his opponent.  Tinkler leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Tinkler lands a left hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents body.  He continues the combination and lands two right hooks to the body, and one to the head.  
Tinkler drives a right hook into his opponents ribs.  Tinkler clinches his opponent.  As they grapple, Tinkler pushes his forearm into Sloan's face.  The ref separates the two fighters.  
Tinkler is looking to close the distance.  Sloan sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Tinkler is on target with a left hook to Sloan's body.  Tinkler holds on to his opponent.  Tinkler hits his opponent with a kidney shot within the clinch. Tinkler leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Sloan's trainer is advising how he could be more accurate.  Sloan's trainer is telling his fighter he needs to be more active or he's going to get outworked.

Tinkler hits home with a left uppercut.  Tinkler clinches his opponent.  Tinkler is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref breaks Tinkler's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Tinkler quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and digs in a telling right hook to his opponents ribs.  SLOAN HAS BEEN KNOCKED DOWN!  He manages to get up at 4.  
Tinkler throws a right uppercut, but is unable to get through his opponents guard.  Tinkler clinches his opponent.  Tinkler tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Sloan behind the head. 
Tinkler lands a left uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  
Tinkler is on target with a right hook to Sloan's body.  
Tinkler quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Sloan throws a right uppercut, but Tinkler clinches his opponent.  Tinkler leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. Tinkler pushes his forearm into Sloan's face.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Tinkler about fouling.  
Tinkler quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands a left uppercut to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  
Tinkler lands three consecutive right hooks to his opponents ribs.  As the two fighters work on the inside, their heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Tinkler dabs at his face checking for damage.  Tinkler has been damaged by that accidental headbutt.  That has caused a minor cut above.  
Tinkler connects with a firm right hook.  
Tinkler digs in a solid right hook to Sloan's ribcage.  
Tinkler lands a left uppercut to the body followed by a right hook to the head.  
Tinkler lands three consecutive right uppercuts to his opponents body.  Tinkler ties up his opponent.  Tinkler is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The referee separates the two fighters and warns Tinkler to stop holding.  
Tinkler lands a right hook to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  Tinkler clinches his opponent.  Tinkler leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref breaks Tinkler's hold and signals for the fight to continue.

Tinkler lands a right hook to the body, a right uppercut to the head and a right uppercut to the body.  HE HAS HIS OPPONENT IN TROUBLE!  Sloan almost instantly gets his legs back.

Tinkler lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  He then lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs.  THAT HURT HIS OPPONENT!  Sloan recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
Tinkler is on target with a firm cross.  
Sloan steps away from his opponent.  Tinkler feints a right hook, and then lands two jabs followed by a cross to his opponents head.  
At the end of Round 2, lets listen in on the corners...Sloan's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.  Sloan's trainer is advising how he could improve his defence.
