Michel Desnos vs Pascal Romand

Boxing Daily Report from the African Boxing Kingdom promoted show at Bellville Velodrome, Cape Town,  taking place on 21/01/2044:

Clearly African Boxing Kingdom have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Michel Desnos (7(3) - 0) who hails from Yaoundé, Cameroon and Pascal Romand(18(1) - 14(7) - 1) from Pikine, Senegal.  Both Desnos and Romand weighed in at 130 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Runako Mashaba, and the three ringside judges are Rob Ndombe, La Vonn Dorkenoo and Musa Zwane.  

Round 1: 

Desnos lands a stiff jab.  
Romand steps inside.  Desnos is on target with a solid right hook to his opponents ribcage.  Desnos throws a left hook, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a left hook.  
Desnos steps to the outside.  Romand throws a cross, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a solid cross.  
Romand gets on the inside and manouvers his opponent onto the ropes.  Desnos connects with a sharp left hook.  As the two fighters work on the inside, their heads come together!  The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.  Desnos has taken some damage there.  That has caused slight damage to the nose.  
Desnos finds the target with a jab.  
Romand lands a cross.  
Romand tries to land a left hook, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a left uppercut.  
Romand steps inside and manouvers Desnos onto the ropes.  Desnos is on target with a left uppercut to his opponents body.

Desnos connects with a cross.  
Romand hits home with a cross.  Romand throws an uppercut to the body, but lands well below the belt!  The ref stops the action and gives Desnos time to recover.

Desnos steps away from his opponent.  Romand throws an overhand right, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a right hook.

Romand gets on the inside.  Desnos lands a double left hook to his opponents head.  HE HAS HIS OPPONENT IN TROUBLE!  Romand almost instantly gets his legs back.
