Boxing Daily Report from the Gold Coast Boxing promoted show at Carrara Stadium, Gold Coast,  taking place on 21/12/2043:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 6 round matchup are Barir Aljazuli (3(2) - 0) who hails from Tangier, Morocco and Morgan Steel(5 - 2) from Canberra, Australia.  Aljazuli weighed in at 174 pounds and 15 ounces, while Steel weighed in at 174 pounds and 4 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Pepe Brunetti, and the three ringside judges are Michael Puller, Robert Lesslie and Paul Phaup.

Aljazuli advances into close range.  Steel tries to land a right uppercut, but Aljazuli blocks the shot and counters with a weighty right uppercut.  IT LOOKS LIKE STEEL WAS HURT BY THAT SHOT!  Steel quickly recovers.

Aljazuli walks Steel onto the ropes.  Steel digs in a left hook to Aljazuli's body.  Steel throws a right hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a stinging right uppercut.  
Steel is on target with a right hook to Aljazuli's ribcage.  
Steel throws an uppercut to the body, but lands well below the belt!  The ref stops the action and gives Aljazuli time to recover.  
Steel finds the target with a jab.  
Steel throws a left hook, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a left hook.  
Aljazuli is on target with a firm right uppercut to Steel's ribs.  
Aljazuli advances into close range and lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs.  Aljazuli clinches his opponent.  Aljazuli throws a hook within the clinch but hits his opponent behind the head. The referee separates the two fighters and warns Aljazuli.

Aljazuli gets on the inside.  Aljazuli lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs.  HE HAS HIS OPPONENT IN TROUBLE!  The two boxers are fighting in-close, but their heads clash!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Steel dabs at his face checking for damage.  Steel recovers before his opponent can take advantage.
