Angel Cavazos vs Lisandro Palencia

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Nicaragua-Leon promoted show at Leon Giraldo, Leon,  taking place on 16/01/2044:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on ESTV, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Angel Cavazos (15(12) - 1) who hails from Leon, Nicaragua and Lisandro Palencia(1 - 4) from Managua, Nicaragua.  Cavazos weighed in at 112 pounds, while Palencia weighed in at 111 pounds and 13 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Carlos Parras, and the three ringside judges are Xavier Pedrosa, Fraco Tafoya and Diego Vargas.

Cavazos is looking to close the distance and lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  
Cavazos steps inside and lands a right hook to the body, a left hook to the body and a left hook to the head.  
Cavazos feints a jab, but Palencia does not fall for it and lands with a right hook.  
Cavazos steps inside and lands a right hook to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  He continues the combination and lands a left uppercut to the body followed by a right hook to the head, AND SENDS PALENCIA TO THE CANVAS!  He is back up on his feet at 5.  Palencia quickly recovers. 
Palencia throws a right uppercut, but Cavazos holds on to his opponent.  Cavazos leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Palencia throws a left hook, but Cavazos clinches his opponent.  Cavazos leans on his opponent using all his weight. The referee separates the two fighters and warns Cavazos to stop holding.  
Palencia throws an uppercut to the body, but lands well below the belt!  The ref ignores Cavazos's complaints and signals for the action to continue.  
Cavazos lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  THAT HURT HIS OPPONENT!  Cavazos ties up his opponent.  Cavazos is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The referee breaks up the clinch and lectures Cavazos to stop holding.  Palencia recovers before his opponent can take advantage.
