Taras Tkachuk vs Vince Olajengbesi

Boxing Daily Report from the Montreal's Top Gym promoted show at Texas Memorial Stadium, Austin,  taking place on 06/02/2044:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  On the line tonight is the WRBC International Super Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Taras Tkachuk (50(49) - 3(2)) who hails from Gomel, Belarus and Vince Olajengbesi(26(23) - 6(6)) from Maiduguri, Nigeria.  Tkachuk weighed in at 153 pounds and 9 ounces, while Olajengbesi weighed in at 153 pounds and 15 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Johnny Cornejo, and the three ringside judges are Brendan Darrow, Paul Speed and Ricky Cohran.  

Round 1: 

Tkachuk lands a cross followed by a left uppercut to his opponents head, AND HIS OPPONENT IS HURT!  Olajengbesi quickly recovers. 
Tkachuk lands two straights followed by a jab to his opponents head, AND HIS OPPONENT IS HURT!  
Olajengbesi tries to keep the action at long range.  The right shot from Tkachuk could be enough to force the stoppage!  Tkachuk lands two left hooks followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  He follows up the attack and lands a cross to the head, a left hook to the head and a right uppercut to the body, KNOCKING OLAJENGBESI DOWN!  He manages to get up at 6.  Olajengbesi now appears to have recovered from that earlier shot.  
Olajengbesi steps away from his opponent and connects with a sharp cross.  Olajengbesi attempts to land a jab, but Tkachuk sidesteps and counters with a cross.

Olajengbesi lands a jab followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  He continues the combination and lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.  Olajengbesi throws a cross, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a right uppercut.  
Olajengbesi tries to keep the action at long range and hits home with a firm cross.  
Tkachuk gets on the inside and manouvers his opponent onto the ropes.  Tkachuk lands a left hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents body.  He follows up the attack and lands a left uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  
Tkachuk lands a left hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents body, AND HIS OPPONENT IS HURT!  Olajengbesi quickly recovers. 
Olajengbesi lands a jab.  
Olajengbesi steps to the outside.  Tkachuk throws a jab, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a stinging right hook.  
Tkachuk steps inside and lands a right uppercut to the body, a left uppercut to the body and a right uppercut to the head.  
Tkachuk lands two left uppercut's to the body followed by a jab to the head.  THAT HURT HIS OPPONENT!  Olajengbesi quickly recovers. 
Tkachuk is looking to close the distance and manouvers Olajengbesi into a neutral corner.  Tkachuk lands a left uppercut to the head followed by a right uppercut to the body.  
Olajengbesi tries to step out of his opponents range.  Tkachuk lands an overhand left followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Tkachuk is looking to close the distance and digs in a firm right hook to Olajengbesi's body.  
Olajengbesi tries to keep the action at long range.  Olajengbesi feints a left hook, and then lands two straights followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Tkachuk lands three consecutive straights to his opponents head, AND HIS OPPONENT IS HURT!  Olajengbesi quickly recovers. 
Tkachuk closes the distance and walks his opponent onto the ropes.  Tkachuk pivots to the left of his opponent and drives a stinging left uppercut into his opponents body.  
Tkachuk lands two jab's to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  
Tkachuk lands a cross to the head followed by a right uppercut to the body.  
Tkachuk closes the distance and lands a left uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  THAT HURT HIS OPPONENT!  Olajengbesi almost instantly recovers. 
Tkachuk closes the distance and digs in a firm left uppercut to his opponents ribs.  
Tkachuk lands two right hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Tkachuk closes the distance and walks his opponent onto the ropes.  Tkachuk sidesteps to the left of his opponent and is on target with a firm right uppercut.  
Tkachuk steps inside and drives a left hook into his opponents body.  Tkachuk holds on to his opponent.  Olajengbesi is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. Olajengbesi is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Olajengbesi's trainer is telling his fighter to increase his workrate.  Olajengbesi's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.

Olajengbesi is on target with a firm left hook to his opponents ribs.  
Tkachuk gets on the inside and lands a right uppercut, left uppercut and a left hook to his opponents body, AND SENDS OLAJENGBESI TO THE CANVAS!  He remains on the canvas as the count reaches 10!  The winner by KO is Tkachuk!
