Connor Gwynn vs Johnny Beaton

Boxing Daily Report from the Montreal's Top Gym promoted show at Olympic Stadium, Montreal,  taking place on 30/01/2044:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 8 round matchup are Connor Gwynn (7(7) - 0) who hails from Toronto, Canada and Johnny Beaton(22 - 7(1)) from Halifax, Canada.  Both Gwynn and Beaton weighed in at 154 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Mark Mostyn, and the three ringside judges are Johnny Smith, Aaron Henry and Sinjon Bellanger.  

Round 1: 

Gwynn pivots to the right of his opponent and lands a left uppercut, right uppercut and a left hook to his opponents body.  
Beaton gets on the inside.  Gwynn lands two left hook's to the body followed by a right hook to the head.  
Beaton gets on the inside.  Gwynn lands three consecutive left hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Gwynn steps away from his opponent and lands an overhand right followed by a jab to his opponents head.  He continues the combination and lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Gwynn is looking to keep the action on the outside and lands a jab followed by a overhand left to his opponents head.  
Beaton lands a right uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  
Gwynn sidesteps to the right of his opponent and is on target with a left hook.  
Gwynn switches the action to the outside and lands a cross followed by  two jabs to his opponents head.  Gwynn throws a jab, but his opponent dodges the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
Beaton steps inside.  Gwynn quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Gwynn switches the action to the outside.  Gwynn sidesteps to the left of his opponent and is on target with a  jab.  
Gwynn feints a cross, and then is on target with a stinging jab.  Gwynn attempts to land a cross, but Beaton slips the shot and counters with a right hook to Gwynn's ribs.  
Beaton closes the distance and walks Gwynn down, trapping him on the ropes.  Beaton attempts to land a right hook, but Gwynn dodges the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
Gwynn lands with a ramrod jab.  
Gwynn throws an overhand right, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a sharp right uppercut.  
Beaton is on target with a solid left hook.  
Gwynn tries to land a right hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a firm left uppercut.  
Gwynn is looking to keep the action on the outside and lands a jab followed by a overhand right to his opponents head.  THAT HURT HIS OPPONENT!  
Some sustained pressure from Gwynn could be enough to finish Beaton!  Gwynn is on target with a VICIOUS left uppercut.  BEATON IS DOWN!  He is back up on his feet at 4.  
Gwynn lands two consecutive left uppercuts to his opponents head, AND DROPS BEATON!  He is back up on his feet at 4.  It looks like Beaton has now recovered from that shot earlier.  
Gwynn steps away from his opponent.  Gwynn sidesteps to the right of his opponent and lands a cross to the body followed by a overhand right to the head.  
Gwynn steps to the outside and is on target with an overhand right.  
Beaton advances into close range.  Gwynn digs in a left hook to Beaton's body.  
Gwynn lands a cross, right uppercut and a jab to his opponents head.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Beaton's trainer is telling his fighter he needs to be more active or he's going to get outworked.  Beaton's trainer is telling his fighter to tighten his defence.

Beaton advances into close range.  Gwynn drives a solid left hook into his opponents body.  Gwynn holds on to his opponent.  Beaton is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref breaks Gwynn's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Gwynn hits home with a solid right hook.  
Gwynn tries to step out of his opponents range and lands a straight 1 - 2.  He continues the combination and lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Gwynn lands a right hook to the head followed by a right uppercut to the body.  
Gwynn steps to the outside.  Gwynn feints a left hook, and then strikes his opponents body with a firm jab.  
Beaton closes the distance and walks his opponent onto the ropes.  Beaton connects with a left hook.  
Beaton is on target with a left hook.  
Gwynn lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents head, AND HIS OPPONENT IS HURT!  Beaton almost instantly gets his legs back. 
Gwynn quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Beaton connects with a solid left hook.  
Gwynn lands a cross.  
Beaton closes the distance and cuts off the ring, trapping Gwynn on the ropes.  Beaton digs in a left uppercut to Gwynn's body.  Beaton tries to land a left uppercut, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
Gwynn is looking to keep the action on the outside and is on target with a HUGE cross.  BEATON WAS STUNNED BY THAT SHOT!  Beaton quickly recovers. 
Gwynn hits home with a sharp jab.  
Gwynn is on target with a sharp overhand right.  
Beaton tries to land a jab, but Gwynn blocks the shot and counters with a right hook.  
Gwynn lands a straight 1 - 2.  He follows up the attack and lands an overhand left followed by a jab to his opponents head, AND HIS OPPONENT IS HURT!  Beaton almost instantly gets his legs back. 
Beaton walks his opponent onto the ropes.  Beaton lands a right uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  
Beaton pivots to the left of his opponent.  Gwynn drives a left hook into Beaton's body.

Beaton steps inside.  Gwynn senses his opponent is hurt.  He is looking to stop Beaton and just needs the right shot.  Gwynn lands two left hooks followed by a cross to his opponents head.  He then lands a cross, right uppercut and a cross to his opponents head, AND BEATON IS DOWN!  He manages to get up at 5.  Beaton now seems to have got his legs back.

Beaton walks his opponent down, trapping him on the ropes.  Beaton lands a right hook.  
Beaton advances into close range and lands a left hook to the body followed by a right hook to the head.  
Gwynn tries to keep the action at long range and lands a jab.  
Beaton throws a left hook, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a sharp cross.  
Gwynn lands with a sharp jab.  
Gwynn lands a jab followed by a overhand right to his opponents head, AND SENDS BEATON TO THE CANVAS!  He is still struggling to his feet as the count reaches 10!  The winner by KO is Gwynn!
