Beltran Triano vs Diego Laris

Boxing Daily Report from the Sowah Promotions promoted show at Maracaibo Sicilia, Maracaibo,  taking place on 14/01/2044:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Venezuela-Zulia Middleweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Meridiano TV, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Beltran Triano (14 - 12 - 6) who hails from Maracaibo, Venezuela and Diego Laris(4(4) - 0) from Maracaibo, Venezuela.  Both Triano and Laris weighed in at 160 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Quito Rosas, and the three ringside judges are Juan Lince, Rogelio Aristizabal and Lisandro Martinez.  

Round 1: 

Triano tries to land an overhand right, but Laris parries the shot and counters with a solid right hook.  
Laris closes the distance and lands a left hook to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  Laris clinches his opponent.  Laris pushes his forearm into Triano's face.  The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Triano pivots from in front of his opponent and finds the target with a jab.  
Triano switches the action to the outside and connects with an overhand left.  
Triano steps to the outside and lands an overhand right.  
Laris lands a right hook to the head followed by a left uppercut to the body.  Laris ties up his opponent.  As they grapple, Laris pushes his forearm into Triano's face.  The referee warns Laris and breaks the clinch.  Laris tries to land a left uppercut, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
Laris lands a double left hook to his opponents head.  
Laris walks Triano down, trapping him on the ropes.  Laris digs in a stinging right hook to Triano's body.  
Laris throws a left uppercut, but is unable to get through his opponents guard.  Laris clinches his opponent.  Laris uses his free hand to throw a hook, but it hits Triano behind the head. The referee warns Laris and breaks the clinch.  
Laris drives a solid left hook into his opponents body.  
Laris lands a right hook, right uppercut and a right hook to his opponents head.  
Laris lands a left hook to the body followed by a right uppercut to the head.  
Laris advances into close range and hits home with a stinging left hook.  
Laris digs in a stinging left hook to Triano's body.  
Laris drives a firm right hook into his opponents body.  
Laris lands a left hook to the head, a right hook to the body and a right hook to the head.  
Laris pivots to the left of his opponent and drives a solid left hook into his opponents ribs.  
Laris is on target with a sharp left hook to Triano's ribs.  
Laris steps inside and digs in a stinging right hook to Triano's ribcage.  
Laris gets on the inside and lands a double left hook to his opponents head.  
Laris gets on the inside and hits home with a stinging left uppercut.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Triano's trainer is advising how he could improve the accuracy of his work.  Triano's trainer is advising how he could stop so many clean shots getting through.

Laris lands a left uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  As the two fighters work on the inside, their heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Triano dabs at his face checking for damage.  
Triano pivots from in front of his opponent.  Laris lands two left hooks to the body, and one to the head.  
Triano tries to step out of his opponents range.  Laris feints a cross, and then attempts to land a cross, but Triano sidesteps and counters with a right hook.  
Laris drives a solid left uppercut into Triano's body.  
Laris drives a right hook into Triano's body.  
Laris sidesteps to the left of his opponent and digs in a solid right hook to his opponents body.  
Laris connects with a right uppercut.  
Laris lands a right hook to the body followed by a left hook to the head.

Laris digs in a sharp left uppercut to his opponents body.  
Laris pivots to the right of his opponent and lands a double right hook to his opponents head.

Laris is on target with a firm right hook to Triano's ribcage.  Laris holds on to his opponent.  Laris is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. Laris hits his opponent with a kidney shot within the clinch. 
Laris is on target with a sharp left uppercut to his opponents body.  Laris holds on to his opponent.  Laris tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Triano behind the head. The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Laris about fouling.  
Triano throws a left hook, but Laris holds on to his opponent.  Laris uses his free hand to throw a body hook, but it lands on Triano's kidney. Laris leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Laris quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and hits home with a sharp right hook.  
Laris lands a right hook to the head, a right hook to the body and a left hook to the body.  
Laris lands a right hook to the body followed by a left hook to the head.

Laris closes the distance and forces Triano to back into the ropes.  Triano attempts to land a left hook, but Laris dodges the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
Laris lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  Laris clinches his opponent.  Laris tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Triano behind the head. The referee separates the two fighters and warns Laris.  
Triano hits home with a cross.  
Laris closes the distance.  Laris quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Laris DETONATES a SAVAGE left hook on his opponents face.  TRIANO WAS STUNNED BY THAT SHOT!  Laris clinches his opponent.  Laris is using his forearm in the clinch.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Laris.  Triano quickly recovers. 
Laris EXPLODES a big left uppercut into his opponents face.  TRIANO IS HURT!  Laris clinches his opponent.  Laris is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Laris stalks his opponent...he just needs the right shot to put his opponent away!  Laris lands a left uppercut to the body followed by a right uppercut to the head, DROPPING TRIANO TO THE CANVAS!  He is back up on his feet at 6.  Triano now seems to have his senses back.  
Laris quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands two left hooks followed by a right hook to his opponents head, AND TRIANO IS KNOCKED DOWN!  He fails to beat the count!  The winner by KO is Laris!
