Zafa Assad vs Hassan Malak

Boxing Daily Report from the Ziggy promoted show at Al Hudaydah Ramin, Al Hudaydah,  taking place on 01/02/2044:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  On the line tonight is the Yemen-Muhafazat al Hudaydah Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Yemen TV, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Zafa Assad (12(11) - 0) who hails from Al Hudaydah, Yemen and Hassan Malak(1 - 4 - 3) from Al Hudaydah, Yemen.  Assad weighed in at 146 pounds And 10 ounces, while Malak weighed in at 145 pounds And 13 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Haaris Buderwill, and the three ringside judges are Saad Bidwee, Haaris Abadi and Amer Salehi.  

Round 1: 

Assad steps inside and lands a left hook, right hook and a left hook to his opponents body.  Assad clinches his opponent.  As they grapple, Assad pushes his forearm into Malak's face.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns Assad to stop fouling.  
Assad lands a left uppercut to the head, a left uppercut to the body and a right hook to the body.  Assad ties up his opponent.  Assad leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref separates the two fighters.  
Malak tries to step out of his opponents range and attempts to land a jab, but Assad sidesteps and counters with a left uppercut to his opponents body.  
Assad steps inside.  Assad sidesteps to the right of his opponent and lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  HE HAS HIS OPPONENT IN TROUBLE!  As the two fighters work on the inside, their heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Malak dabs at his face checking for damage.  Malak almost instantly gets his legs back. 
Assad lands a left hook to the body, a left hook to the head and a left uppercut to the body.  Assad clinches his opponent.  Assad is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref separates the two fighters.  
Assad steps inside and is on target with a firm right hook to his opponents body.  Assad holds on to his opponent.  Assad leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Assad lands a left uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  
Assad sidesteps to the left of his opponent and drives a left hook into his opponents liver.  
Assad gets on the inside and connects with a left hook.  
Malak steps to the outside and lands an overhand right followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Assad closes the distance and lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  
Assad lands a sharp right hook.  
Assad forces Malak to retreat into a corner.  Assad quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Assad drives a right hook into Malak's body.  Assad ties up his opponent.  Assad leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref breaks Assad's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Assad hits home with a stinging right hook.  
Assad digs in a left hook to his opponents body.  Assad holds on to his opponent.  Assad is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Assad lands a left uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents body.

Malak pivots from in front of his opponent.  Assad lands a jab to the head, a left hook to the body and a cross to the head.  
Malak steps to the outside.  Malak quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Assad lands an overhand right followed by a jab to his opponents head, AND HIS OPPONENT IS HURT!  Malak almost instantly gets his legs back. 
Assad closes the distance and lands a sharp left hook.

At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Malak's trainer is suggesting ways of getting through to his opponent.  Malak's trainer is advising how he could improve his defence.
