Porfio Padilla vs Vicente Badilla

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Nicaragua-Managua promoted show at Casino Pharaohs, Managua,  taking place on 16/01/2044:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Nicaragua Super Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on ESTV, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Porfio Padilla (10(10) - 3) who hails from Masaya, Nicaragua and Vicente Badilla(7 - 8(1)) from Managua, Nicaragua.  Both Padilla and Badilla weighed in at 140 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Zacarias Leyba, and the three ringside judges are Carlos Barrientos, Alejandro Devera and Zacarias Balan.  

Round 1:

Badilla throws a cross, but his opponent dodges the shot and counters with a stinging left hook.  
Padilla tries to step out of his opponents range.  Badilla tries to land a cross, but Padilla sidesteps and counters with a left uppercut.

Padilla feints a cross, and then lands a jab followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  HE HAS HIS OPPONENT IN TROUBLE!  Badilla recovers before his opponent can take advantage.
