Rob Wiliams vs Denton Caruth

Boxing Daily Report from the Jon Crosby promoted show at David Weir Gym, Newcastle,  taking place on 18/01/2044:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Australia-New South Wales Minimumweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Rob Wiliams (9 - 8(1) - 4) who hails from Newcastle, Australia and Denton Caruth(3 - 14 - 3) from Sydney, Australia.  Wiliams weighed in at 104 pounds and 5 ounces, while Caruth weighed in at 105 pounds.  
The referee tonight is David Corrie, and the three ringside judges are Arthur Williams, Louis Porzhnev and Ricky Christeson.  

Round 1: 

Wiliams lands a right uppercut.  
Caruth manouvers Wiliams onto the ropes.  Caruth sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Wiliams attempts to land a cross, but Caruth sidesteps and counters with a left uppercut to his opponents body.  
Wiliams closes the distance and hits home with a left hook.  
Wiliams advances into close range and digs in a left hook to his opponents body.  
Wiliams is looking to close the distance and hits home with a right hook.  
Caruth lands a cross.

Wiliams gets on the inside.  Caruth hits home with a right hook.  Wiliams holds on to his opponent.  The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Wiliams sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Caruth hits home with a cross.  
Wiliams is on target with a right hook.  
Wiliams throws a right hook, but his opponent parries the shot.  Wiliams ties up his opponent.  As they grapple, Wiliams pushes his forearm into Caruth's face.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Wiliams about fouling.  
Wiliams lands a right hook to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  
Caruth throws a right hook, but Wiliams ties up his opponent.  As they grapple, Caruth pushes his forearm into Wiliams's face.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Caruth.

Wiliams closes the distance.  As Wiliams tries to work on the inside, the fighters heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Caruth dabs at his face checking for damage.
