Kirk Melby vs Kirk Hamre

Boxing Daily Report from the Valhalla Promotions promoted show at Oslo Spektrum, Oslo,  taking place on 22/01/2044:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Kirk Melby (12(9) - 0) who hails from Oslo, Norway and Kirk Hamre(3 - 2 - 1) from Oslo, Norway.  Melby weighed in at 139 pounds and 14 ounces, while Hamre weighed in at 140 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Ragnar Volle, and the three ringside judges are Odin Roys, Thor Fagerland and Roscoe Watne.

At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Hamre's trainer is suggesting ways of getting through to his opponent.  Hamre's trainer is telling his fighter he is being outworked and needs to throw more.  Hamre's trainer is advising how he could improve his defence.

Hamre throws a jab, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a stinging right hook.

Melby throws an uppercut to the body, but lands well below the belt!  The ref stops the action and gives Hamre time to recover.  
Melby is looking to keep his distance and connects with a stinging cross.

Hamre tries to land a jab, but his opponent dodges the shot and counters with a cross.  
Melby switches the action to the outside.  Melby sidesteps to the right of his opponent and is on target with a FEARSOME overhand right.  HAMRE IS SENT SPRAWLING TO THE CANVAS!  HE REMAINS ON THE CANVAS AS THE COUNT REACHES 10!  The winner by KO is Melby!
