Sid Calderwood vs Sam Barry

Boxing Daily Report from the Knoetze Promotions promoted show at Perth Seeton, Perth,  taking place on 18/01/2044:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Australia-Western Australia Light Heavyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Sid Calderwood (16(1) - 9(2) - 3) who hails from Perth, Australia and Sam Barry(5 - 0 - 2) from Perth, Australia.  Both Calderwood and Barry weighed in at 175 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Joshua Blacketer, and the three ringside judges are Chris Yazdanyan, Daniel Norman and Dave McPherson.  

Round 1: 

Calderwood lands a left uppercut followed by  two left hooks to his opponents body.  
Calderwood tries to land a jab, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
Calderwood advances into close range and throws a right hook, but his opponent parries the shot.  Calderwood clinches his opponent.  Calderwood pushes his forearm into Barry's face.  The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Calderwood lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  Calderwood holds on to his opponent.  Calderwood is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  As the two fighters work on the inside, their heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Barry dabs at his face checking for damage.
