Cole Moyes vs Alastair Edmison

Boxing Daily Report from the FightArama promoted show at Mystery Creek Event Centre, Hamilton,  taking place on 26/02/2044:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on TV One, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Cole Moyes (14(5) - 0) who hails from Auckland, New Zealand and Alastair Edmison(8 - 10(1) - 2) from Christchurch, New Zealand.  Both Moyes and Edmison weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Jake Ewart, and the three ringside judges are David Clewis, Gregor Tweedle and Billy Donald.  

Round 1: 

Moyes steps away from his opponent and lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Moyes pivots to the left of his opponent and connects with a stinging cross.  
Moyes quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and finds the target with a jab.  
Moyes is on target with a stinging cross.  
Edmison gets on the inside.  Moyes lands a stinging left hook.  
Moyes lands a left hook to the head followed by a right uppercut to the body.  
Edmison closes the distance and manages to force Moyes into a neutral corner.  Edmison throws a left hook, but Moyes ties up his opponent.  As they grapple, Moyes pushes his forearm into Edmison's face.  The referee warns Moyes and breaks the clinch.  
Moyes throws a jab, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
Moyes steps to the outside and hits home with a firm cross.  
Moyes lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Moyes lands a cross to the body followed by a jab to the head.  He follows up the attack and lands an overhand right followed by a overhand left to his opponents head.  
Edmison throws a right hook, but Moyes clinches his opponent.  Moyes is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref separates the two fighters.  
Moyes connects with a sharp left hook.  
Moyes switches the action to the outside and lands a cross to the head, a jab to the body and a jab to the head.  
Moyes is looking to keep his distance and lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Moyes connects with a solid overhand right.  
Edmison closes the distance and walks Moyes down, trapping him on the ropes.  Moyes drives a sharp left hook into Edmison's body.  Moyes ties up his opponent.  Moyes leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref separates the two fighters.  
Moyes attempts to land a jab, but Edmison dodges the shot and counters with a right hook to Moyes's ribs.  
Moyes feints a right hook, and then lands a jab followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Edmison's trainer is suggesting ways of getting through to his opponent.  Edmison's trainer is advising how he could stop so many clean shots getting through.

Moyes lands a jab to the head, a cross to the head and a jab to the body.  
Moyes drives a jab into Edmison's body.  
Moyes quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands a jab to the body, and then to the head.  
Edmison closes the distance and walks Moyes into the blue corner.  Moyes lands a double left hook to his opponents head.  
Moyes lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  
Edmison throws a right hook, but Moyes holds on to his opponent.  Moyes leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Edmison pivots to the left of his opponent.  Moyes lands a right hook to the head followed by a left uppercut to the body.  
Edmison attempts to land a right hook, but Moyes sidesteps and counters with a right uppercut.  
Moyes is looking to keep the action on the outside.  Moyes feints a left, and then lands three consecutive jabs to his opponents head.  
Edmison advances into close range.  Moyes connects with a left hook.  
Edmison gets on the inside.  Moyes drives a right hook into Edmison's ribcage.  
Moyes steps away from his opponent and lands a jab.  
Moyes lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Moyes tries to step out of his opponents range and lands a jab followed by a overhand right to his opponents head.  
Moyes lands a HUGE cross.  IT LOOKS LIKE EDMISON WAS HURT BY THAT SHOT!  
Moyes steps to the outside.  Some sustained pressure from Moyes could be enough to finish Edmison!  Moyes lands two straights followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  He continues the combination and lands a cross followed by  two left uppercuts to his opponents head.  
Moyes lands a cross followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  He continues the combination and lands a cross to the head followed by a left hook to the body, AND SENDS EDMISON TO THE CANVAS!  He is back up on his feet at 7.  Edmison now seems to have his senses back.  
At the end of Round 2, lets listen in on the corners...Edmison's trainer is telling his fighter to increase his workrate.

Moyes hits home with a sharp jab.  
Edmison attempts to land a jab, but Moyes blocks the shot and counters with a FEARSOME left hook.  EDMISON WAS STUNNED BY THAT SHOT!  Edmison recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
Moyes tries to keep the action at long range and lands an overhand right followed by a cross to his opponents head.  
Edmison gets on the inside.  Moyes lands a double left hook to his opponents head.  He then lands a left hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents head, AND DOWN GOES EDMISON!  He unsteadily tries to get up but is unable to beat the 10 count!  The winner by KO is Moyes!
