Olier Piaget vs Adrien Fillion

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Belgium-Wallonia promoted show at La Zone, Liege,  taking place on 18/01/2044:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Belgium-Wallonia Cruiserweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Olier Piaget (3 - 15 - 2) who hails from Liege, Belgium and Adrien Fillion(13(8) - 4(3) - 2) from Liege, Belgium.  Piaget weighed in at 199 pounds and 10 ounces, while Fillion weighed in at 200 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Launcelot Eury, and the three ringside judges are Montague Bonnaire, Acelin de Vigny and Glanville Barse.  

Round 1: 

Fillion gets on the inside.  Piaget tries to land a right hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a cross.  
Fillion steps inside and hits home with a right hook.  
Piaget tries to keep the action at long range.  Fillion sidesteps to the left of his opponent and hits home with a spiteful jab.  
Fillion closes the distance and lands a left uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  
Fillion is on target with a left hook to Piaget's body.  
Fillion walks Piaget onto the ropes.  Fillion pivots to the left of his opponent.  Fillion lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  Fillion ties up his opponent.  Fillion uses his free hand to throw a hook, but it hits Piaget behind the head. 
Fillion lands a left uppercut to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  Fillion clinches his opponent.  Fillion is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. Fillion is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref breaks Fillion's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Fillion steps inside and lands two right hooks to the body, and one to the head.  Fillion holds on to his opponent.  Fillion throws a hook within the clinch but hits his opponent behind the head. The referee separates the two fighters and warns Fillion.  
Piaget connects with a cross.  
Fillion quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Piaget tries to land a jab, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a sharp cross.  
Piaget tries to keep the action at long range.  Fillion sidesteps to the right of his opponent and lands a spiteful jab.  
Fillion steps inside.  Fillion pivots to the right of his opponent and digs in a stinging right hook to his opponents body.  
Fillion hits home with a left uppercut.  
Piaget steps to the outside and lands an overhand right.  
Fillion lands a sharp left hook.  
Fillion digs in a right hook to his opponents body.  
Fillion is looking to close the distance and lands a right hook to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  Fillion clinches his opponent.  Piaget pushes his forearm into Fillion's face.  The ref separates the two fighters.  
Fillion advances into close range and is on target with a right hook to Piaget's body.  
Fillion lands a right hook to the body followed by a right uppercut to the head.  
Fillion is looking to close the distance and is on target with a sharp left hook to Piaget's ribs.

Fillion pushes his forearm into Piaget's face.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Fillion about fouling.  
Fillion lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  He continues the combination and lands a right hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents body.  
Fillion lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Piaget lands a cross.  
Fillion is looking to close the distance and connects with a right hook.  
Fillion lands a left uppercut to the head, a right hook to the body and a right hook to the head.  
Piaget attempts to land a left uppercut, but Fillion slips the shot and counters with a solid right hook.  
Piaget steps to the outside and connects with an overhand right.  
Fillion steps inside and lands two consecutive left uppercuts to his opponents head.  
Fillion lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  He follows up the attack and lands two left uppercut's to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  
Piaget tries to keep the action at long range and lands an overhand right followed by a overhand left to his opponents head.  
Fillion advances into close range and lands a double left hook to his opponents head.  He then lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Fillion lands a left hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents body.  He continues the combination and lands a right uppercut to the body, and then to the head, AND STUNS HIS OPPONENT!  Piaget almost instantly recovers. 
Fillion pivots to the side of his opponent and connects with a left hook.  
At the end of Round 2, lets listen in on the corners...Piaget's trainer is advising how he could stop so many clean shots getting through.

Fillion clinches his opponent.  Fillion leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref breaks Fillion's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Fillion lands a left hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents body.  
Piaget steps to the outside.  Fillion feints a left hook, and then lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Fillion closes the distance and manages to force Piaget into a corner.  Fillion digs in a right hook to his opponents body.  
Piaget throws a right hook, but Fillion ties up his opponent.  Fillion is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. Piaget pushes his forearm into Fillion's face.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns Piaget to stop fouling.  
Fillion hits home with a sharp cross.  
Piaget steps to the outside and hits home with an overhand right.  
Piaget throws a left uppercut, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a left hook.  
Fillion is on target with a left hook to Piaget's liver.

Fillion senses Piaget is in trouble...he is looking to finish him off!  Fillion crashes a spiteful left uppercut to Piaget's liver.  PIAGET IS DROPPED TO THE CANVAS!  He is on his feet as the count reaches 7.  Piaget now seems to have recovered from the bodyshot.

Fillion uses his free hand to throw a body hook, but it lands on Piaget's kidney. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.

Fillion closes the distance and lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Fillion manages to force Piaget into the corner.  Fillion lands a left hook to the body followed by a right uppercut to the head.  
Piaget throws a right hook, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a firm left uppercut to his opponents ribs.  
Fillion lands a right hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents body.  
Fillion whips in a DESTRUCTIVE right hook to Piaget's body.  PIAGET HAS BEEN KNOCKED DOWN!  THE REF STOPS THE FIGHT!  HE DOES NOT BELIEVE PIAGET CAN CONTINUE!  The fight has been stopped!  The winner by TKO is Fillion!
