Miljenko Golub vs Garrison Schechinger

Boxing Daily Report from the Ognjen promoted show at Arena Zagreb, Zagreb,  taking place on 30/01/2044:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  On the line tonight is the European Light Heavyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Miljenko Golub (38(33) - 2(1) - 2) who hails from Split, Croatia and Garrison Schechinger(21(8) - 13(10) - 1) from Kiel, Germany.  Both Golub and Schechinger weighed in at 175 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Tomislav Komušar, and the three ringside judges are Blaž Magzan, Denis Praljak and Jurica Barišic.  

Round 1: 

Golub lands a double jab to his opponents head.  He follows up the attack and lands a straight 1 - 2.

Schechinger closes the distance and walks Golub down, trapping him on the ropes.  Schechinger digs in a right hook to his opponents body.  
Golub is looking to keep his distance and hits home with a stinging jab.

Schechinger sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Golub throws a left hook, but his opponent dodges the shot and counters with a right hook.  
Schechinger steps away from his opponent and is on target with a jab.  
Schechinger closes the distance and is on target with a left uppercut.  Schechinger throws a left uppercut, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a VICIOUS left uppercut.  SCHECHINGER WAS STUNNED BY THAT SHOT!  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Golub's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.  Schechinger's trainer is advising how he could be more accurate.  Schechinger's trainer is telling his fighter to tighten his defence.
