Miika Isokangas vs Tomi Couri

Boxing Daily Report from the Tatli Promotion promoted show at Immo Ketola Gym, Espoo,  taking place on 22/01/2044:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Finland-Uusimaa Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Miika Isokangas (4 - 8(1)) who hails from Vantaa, Finland and Tomi Couri(19(15) - 8(5)) from Espoo, Finland.  Both Isokangas and Couri weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Niko Kumpula, and the three ringside judges are Arvi Vacca, Toimi Korkiakangas and Tero Lehtinen.  

Round 1: 

Couri closes the distance and lands a right hook to the head, a right hook to the body and a left uppercut to the head.  Couri holds on to his opponent.  Couri is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Couri about fouling.  
Isokangas tries to step out of his opponents range.  Couri feints a jab and triggers a right uppercut counter from Isokangas.  Couri springs the trap and counters with  a right uppercut.  
Couri lands a stinging left hook.  
Couri is looking to keep the action on the outside and lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.  
Couri gets on the inside and lands two left hook's to the body followed by a left uppercut to the head.  
Couri digs in a stinging left hook to Isokangas's ribs.  
Couri lands a right uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  Couri holds on to his opponent.  Isokangas pushes his forearm into Couri's face.  The ref separates the two fighters.  
Couri lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  Couri clinches his opponent.  Couri tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Isokangas's kidney. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Couri pivots from in front of his opponent and is on target with a sharp right hook to Isokangas's body.  
Couri closes the distance and digs in a solid right hook to Isokangas's body.  Couri holds on to his opponent.  Couri leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  Couri attempts to land a right uppercut, but Isokangas sidesteps and counters with a right hook.  
Isokangas tries to step out of his opponents range and finds the target with a jab.  
Couri is looking to close the distance.  Couri wants to work on the inside, but accidentally clashes heads with his opponent!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Isokangas dabs at his face checking for damage.  
Couri gets on the inside.  Couri quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  
Couri lands a left hook to the body followed by a right hook to the head.  Couri clinches his opponent.  Couri leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Couri tries to step out of his opponents range.  Couri contemptuously drops his hands, trying to provoke his opponent.  Isokangas connects with a cross.  
Couri lands a jab followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  
Couri gets on the inside and is on target with a left uppercut to Isokangas's body.  
Couri sidesteps to the right of his opponent and lands a jab to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  
Couri switches the action to the outside.  Isokangas lands a cross.  
Isokangas steps to the outside and lands a cross.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Isokangas's trainer is telling his fighter to increase his workrate.  Isokangas's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.

Couri steps inside and lands a left hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents head.  
Couri drives a stinging left hook into Isokangas's body.  
Couri gets on the inside and throws a left hook, but is unable to get through his opponents guard.  Couri holds on to his opponent.  Isokangas is using his forearm in the clinch.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Isokangas.  
Couri digs in a left hook to Isokangas's liver.  
Couri lands a left hook to the body, a left hook to the head and a right uppercut to the body.  
Couri lands a right hook to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  Couri clinches his opponent.  Couri leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.

At the end of Round 2, lets listen in on the corners...Isokangas's trainer is advising how he could improve the accuracy of his work.  Isokangas's trainer is telling his fighter to tighten his defence.

Couri lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head, AND DROPS ISOKANGAS TO THE CANVAS!  He manages to get up at 4.
