Shevon Akhasamba vs Kieran Wanja

Boxing Daily Report from the African Boxing Kingdom promoted show at Nyayo National Stadium, Nairobi,  taking place on 11/02/2044:

Clearly African Boxing Kingdom have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Eastern African Light Flyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Shevon Akhasamba (24(2) - 11(3) - 3) who hails from Kangundo-Tala, Kenya and Kieran Wanja(31 - 16(5) - 1) from Mombasa, Kenya.  Both Akhasamba and Wanja weighed in at 108 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Leon Cassam, and the three ringside judges are Rich Ashira, Stuart Lone and Paul Chelanga.  

Round 1: 

Akhasamba advances into close range and lands a left hook to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  
Akhasamba pivots from in front of his opponent and lands with a stinging jab.  
Akhasamba steps inside and lands two right hooks to the body, and one to the head.  Akhasamba holds on to his opponent.  Akhasamba leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.

Akhasamba advances into close range and lands a right hook to the body followed by a right uppercut to the head.  Akhasamba ties up his opponent.  Wanja uses his free hand to throw a body hook, but it lands on Akhasamba's kidney. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Akhasamba pivots to the side of his opponent and hits home with a right uppercut.  
Akhasamba pivots to the left of his opponent and drives a potent left uppercut into his opponents ribs.  WANJA IS HURT!  Wanja recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
Akhasamba walks his opponent down, trapping him in a corner.  Akhasamba sidesteps to the right of his opponent and lands three consecutive right hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Akhasamba digs in a sharp right hook to Wanja's ribcage.  Akhasamba tries to land a right hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
Akhasamba closes the distance and digs in a right hook to Wanja's body.
