Henry Spotswood vs Rob Saunders

Boxing Daily Report from the North Star Boxing promoted show at Duke Energy Convention Center, Cincinnati,  taking place on 22/01/2044:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 8 round matchup are Henry Spotswood (8(4) - 0) who hails from Indianapolis, USA and Rob Saunders(5 - 2(1)) from Indianapolis, USA.  Both Spotswood and Saunders weighed in at 126 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Jack Pfluger, and the three ringside judges are John Ardis, Clinton Hintz and James Goudy.  

Round 1: 

Spotswood advances into close range and lands a left hook to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  Spotswood holds on to his opponent.  Spotswood pushes his forearm into Saunders's face.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Spotswood about fouling.  
Spotswood gets on the inside.  Saunders throws a left hook, but Spotswood clinches his opponent.  Spotswood throws a hook within the clinch but hits his opponent behind the head. The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Spotswood about fouling.  
Spotswood lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  He then lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  Spotswood clinches his opponent.  Spotswood tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Saunders behind the head. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Spotswood closes the distance and manouvers Saunders onto the ropes.  Spotswood lands a left uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  
Spotswood connects with a left hook.  
Spotswood advances into close range and drives a stinging left hook into his opponents liver.  
Spotswood lands a left hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents body.  
Spotswood advances into close range.  Spotswood is on target with a stinging left hook.  Saunders wants to work on the inside, but accidentally clashes heads with his opponent!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Spotswood dabs at his face checking for damage.  Spotswood has taken some damage there.  That has caused slight swelling  around the right eye.  
Spotswood steps inside and connects with a left uppercut.

Spotswood is on target with a left uppercut to Saunders's body.  
Spotswood digs in a stinging left uppercut to Saunders's liver.  Spotswood clinches his opponent.  Spotswood tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Saunders's kidney. 
Spotswood advances into close range and forces Saunders to back into the ropes.  Spotswood lands a left uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  
Spotswood lands a right uppercut to the head, a right hook to the body and a left hook to the body, AND HIS OPPONENT IS HURT!  
Spotswood senses his opponent is hurt.  He is looking to stop Saunders and just needs the right shot.  Spotswood lands a right uppercut to the head followed by two left hook's to the body.  He then lands a left uppercut, left hook and a right hook to his opponents body.  It looks like Saunders has now recovered from that earlier bodyshot.  
Spotswood lands a left uppercut to the body, a right hook to the head and a right hook to the body.  Spotswood clinches his opponent.  Spotswood is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.

Saunders feints a right hook, but Spotswood ignores the feint and is on target with a stinging right uppercut.

At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Saunders's trainer is telling his fighter to increase his workrate.  Saunders's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.

Spotswood pivots to the right of his opponent.  Saunders throws a right hook, but Spotswood holds on to his opponent.  Spotswood is using his forearm in the clinch.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns Spotswood to stop fouling.  
Spotswood lands a cross.  
Spotswood closes the distance and lands a right uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents body, AND HIS OPPONENT IS HURT!  Saunders recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
Spotswood steps inside and drives a left hook into his opponents body.  
Spotswood lands a right hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents body.  
Spotswood lands a left uppercut to the head, a right uppercut to the body and a left hook to the body.  
Spotswood is looking to close the distance and lands a right uppercut to the body followed by a right hook to the head.  
Spotswood lands a stinging left uppercut.  
Spotswood lands a left uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  
Spotswood strikes his opponents body with a cross.  
Spotswood is looking to close the distance and lands a left uppercut to the body, a left hook to the body and a left hook to the head.

Spotswood connects with a HUGE left hook.  SAUNDERS IS DROPPED TO THE CANVAS!  He is on his feet as the count reaches 9.  Saunders now seems to have recovered from the bodyshot.  
Spotswood steps inside and lands a right hook to the head followed by a left uppercut to the body.  
Spotswood manouvers Saunders into a corner.  Spotswood digs in a solid right uppercut to Saunders's body.  SAUNDERS WAS STUNNED BY THAT SHOT!  Saunders quickly recovers. 
Spotswood lands a left uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  
Spotswood lands a left uppercut followed by  two left hooks to his opponents body.  
Spotswood is on target with a right hook to Saunders's ribs.  
Spotswood drives a right uppercut into Saunders's body.  Spotswood clinches his opponent.  Spotswood uses his free hand to throw a body hook, but it lands on Saunders's kidney. The referee separates the two fighters and warns Spotswood to stop holding.  
Spotswood drives a sharp left uppercut into Saunders's ribs.  Spotswood ties up his opponent.  Spotswood leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Spotswood sidesteps to the left of his opponent and lands a left uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  He continues the combination and lands a right hook, left hook and a right hook to his opponents body, AND SENDS SAUNDERS TO THE CANVAS!  He manages to get up at 5.  Saunders almost instantly recovers. 
At the end of Round 2, lets listen in on the corners...Saunders's trainer is suggesting ways of getting through to his opponent.  Saunders's trainer is advising how he could improve his defence.
