Alen Mason vs Owen Criscito

Boxing Daily Report from the North Star Boxing promoted show at Duke Energy Convention Center, Cincinnati,  taking place on 22/01/2044:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 6 round matchup are Alen Mason (5(3) - 0) who hails from Cape Coral, USA and Owen Criscito(2 - 0) from New York City, USA.  Mason weighed in at 115 pounds, while Criscito weighed in at 114 pounds and 8 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Clinton Hintz, and the three ringside judges are Jack Pfluger, John Ardis and James Goudy.  

Round 1: 

Mason advances into close range and lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  Mason ties up his opponent.  Mason leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Mason is looking to close the distance and lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  
Criscito steps to the outside.  Mason feints a jab, but Criscito is not fooled and lands with a left uppercut.  
Mason closes the distance and walks his opponent down, trapping him on the ropes.  Mason lands a left hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents body.  Mason ties up his opponent.  As they grapple, Mason pushes his forearm into Criscito's face.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Mason.  
Mason lands a left hook to the head followed by a left uppercut to the body.  Mason clinches his opponent.  Mason is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref breaks Mason's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Mason sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Mason lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs.  Mason holds on to his opponent.  Mason leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Mason digs in a left hook to Criscito's ribs.  
Mason wants to work on the inside, but accidentally clashes heads with his opponent!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Criscito dabs at his face checking for damage.  
Mason lands a right uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  
Mason is looking to close the distance.  Mason quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and drives a left hook into his opponents ribs.  
Mason is on target with a firm left hook to Criscito's liver.  
Mason digs in a firm right hook to Criscito's body.  Mason clinches his opponent.  Mason leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref breaks Mason's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Mason lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  Mason holds on to his opponent.  Mason is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Mason walks his opponent down, trapping him in a corner.  Mason lands a left uppercut to the body followed by a right hook to the head.  
Mason lands a left uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  
Mason lands two right hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Mason drives a right hook into his opponents body.  
Mason gets on the inside and lands a double right hook to his opponents head.  
Mason manouvers his opponent into a corner.  Mason connects with a right uppercut.  
Mason lands a left hook.  
Criscito pivots to the right of his opponent.  Criscito attempts to land a left hook, but Mason sidesteps and counters with a right uppercut.  
Mason closes the distance and manouvers his opponent into the red corner.  Mason connects with a left hook.  
Mason sidesteps to the left of his opponent and digs in a left hook to his opponents liver.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Criscito's trainer is advising how he could be more accurate.  Criscito's trainer is telling his fighter he needs to be more active or he's going to get outworked.  Criscito's trainer is advising how he could improve his defence.

Round 2: 

Mason lands a right uppercut followed by a left uppercut to his opponents body.  
Mason quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and digs in a stinging right hook to Criscito's body.  
Mason lands a right hook to the body followed by two left hook's to the head, AND STUNS HIS OPPONENT!  Criscito recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
Mason closes the distance and is on target with a solid right uppercut to his opponents ribs.  
Mason digs in a forceful right uppercut to his opponents ribs.  CRISCITO IS HURT!  Mason holds on to his opponent.  The referee breaks up the clinch and lectures Mason to stop holding.  
Some sustained pressure from Mason could be enough to finish Criscito!  Mason lands a right hook to the head followed by a left uppercut to the body.  He then lands a left uppercut to the head, a right hook to the head and a left uppercut to the body, AND CRISCITO IS KNOCKED DOWN!  He beats the count, getting up at 5.  It looks like Criscito has now recovered from that earlier bodyshot.  
Mason walks his opponent into the corner.  Mason lands a left hook to the head, a right uppercut to the body and a right hook to the body, AND HIS OPPONENT IS HURT!  
Mason is looking to put the pressure on now...he knows a few clean shots could mean an early night.  Mason lands a left hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents body.  He then lands consecutive left uppercuts to his opponents body, AND SENDS CRISCITO SPRAWLING TO THE CANVAS!  He is on his feet as the count reaches 7.  
Mason lands a left uppercut to the head followed by a right uppercut to the body, AND KNOCKS CRISCITO DOWN!  The ref waves off the fight.  He does not believe Criscito can continue!  The fight has been stopped!  The winner by TKO is Mason!
