Kieran Ward vs Niall Madigan

Boxing Daily Report from the Don Kingahan promoted show at Dublin Brannon, Dublin,  taking place on 26/01/2044:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Irish-Leinster Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Kieran Ward (10 - 5 - 1) who hails from Dublin, Ireland and Niall Madigan(24 - 15 - 4) from Dublin, Ireland.  Ward weighed in at 146 pounds And 15 ounces, while Madigan weighed in at 147 pounds And 13 ounces.    As Madigan came in over the weight limit, only his opponent will be able to compete for the final eliminator position tonight.  
The referee tonight is Clinton MacAdam, and the three ringside judges are Lee Taggart, Carl Lyons and Rory Finnegan.
