James Maffett vs Ian Lawrimore

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Jamaica-Kingston promoted show at Kingston Smiles, Kingston,  taking place on 28/01/2044:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Jamaica-Kingston Super Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are James Maffett (10(4) - 1) who hails from Kingston, Jamaica and Ian Lawrimore(12 - 10(2) - 1) from Kingston, Jamaica.  Both Maffett and Lawrimore weighed in at 140 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Bob Witherow, and the three ringside judges are Matthew Christopher, Oliver Hedley and Bruce Maver.  

Round 1: 

Maffett is on target with a left uppercut to Lawrimore's ribs.  
Maffett is looking to close the distance.  Maffett pivots to the side of his opponent and hits home with a firm left uppercut.
