Neron Espin vs Montel Ruano

Boxing Daily Report from the Wapakhabulo Promotions promoted show at Mexico-Puebla Gym, Puebla,  taking place on 29/01/2044:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Mexico-Puebla Heavyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Neron Espin (14 - 11 - 5) who hails from Puebla, Mexico and Montel Ruano(9 - 25(2) - 3) from Puebla, Mexico.  Espin weighed in at 256 pounds and 12 ounces, while Ruano weighed in at 215 pounds and 13 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Xalvador Pimienta, and the three ringside judges are Carlos Angulo, Jaguar Galdamez and Diego Mar.  

Round 1: 

Espin is looking to close the distance.  Espin is on target with a left hook to Ruano's body.  As Ruano tries to work on the inside, the fighters heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Espin dabs at his face checking for damage.
