HuiK'o Wai vs Kaede Morishita

Boxing Daily Report from the Montreal's Top Gym promoted show at Hanshin Racecourse, Takarazuka,  taking place on 23/01/2044:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 6 round matchup are HuiK'o Wai (0 - 0) who hails from Xian, China and Kaede Morishita(16 - 22(2) - 7) from Sendai, Japan.  Both Wai and Morishita weighed in at 126 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Kazuhiko Hayashi, and the three ringside judges are Fumio Matsuno, Yuji Muramoto and Kazuhiko Yamamura.  

Round 1: 

Wai steps away from his opponent and lands a sharp overhand left.  
Morishita advances into close range.  Wai lands a left uppercut, left hook and a right hook to his opponents body.  Wai ties up his opponent.  As they grapple, Wai pushes his forearm into Morishita's face.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns Wai to stop fouling.  
Morishita walks his opponent down, trapping him on the ropes.  Wai lands a left hook to the body, a right hook to the head and a left hook to the head.  Wai ties up his opponent.  Wai leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Wai tries to step out of his opponents range.  Wai feints a jab, and then lands a firm cross.  
Wai connects with a cross.  
Morishita steps inside.  Wai lands three consecutive right hooks to his opponents ribs.  Wai throws a right uppercut, but his opponent parries the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
Morishita steps inside.  Wai lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  He continues the combination and lands two left hooks to the body, and one to the head.  
Morishita advances into close range.  Wai drives a left hook into Morishita's body.  Wai clinches his opponent.  Wai throws a hook within the clinch but hits his opponent behind the head. The ref breaks Wai's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Wai lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.  He continues the combination and lands a double jab to his opponents body.  
Morishita is looking to close the distance.  Wai pivots to the left of his opponent and lands a left uppercut followed by a right uppercut to his opponents body.  
Wai throws a cross, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a left uppercut.  
Wai tries to keep the action at long range and is on target with a sharp overhand left.  
Wai lands a sharp cross.  
Wai is on target with a solid overhand right.  
Morishita advances into close range and cuts off the ring, trapping Wai on the ropes.  Wai lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  He follows up the attack and lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Wai is on target with a right hook to his opponents ribs.  
Wai lands a left uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  
Wai connects with a cross.  
Morishita advances into close range.  Wai pivots to the side of his opponent and lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents body.

Morishita steps inside and forces Wai to retreat onto the ropes.  Wai drives a stinging left hook into Morishita's body.  
Wai throws a jab, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a left uppercut.  
Wai feints a right, and then lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Morishita strikes his opponents body with a cross.

Morishita gets on the inside and walks Wai onto the ropes.  Wai is on target with a sharp left hook to his opponents ribs.  Wai clinches his opponent.  Wai leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref breaks Wai's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Wai pivots from in front of his opponent and drives a left hook into Morishita's body.  
Morishita forces Wai to back into the ropes.  Wai lands a right uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  Wai clinches his opponent.  The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Wai is looking to keep his distance and lands a jab followed by a overhand right to his opponents head.  
Morishita gets on the inside.  Wai digs in a solid left hook to his opponents body.  Wai ties up his opponent.  Wai uses his free hand to throw a hook, but it hits Morishita behind the head. The referee breaks the clinch and warns Wai to stop fouling.  
Morishita manouvers Wai onto the ropes.  Morishita hits home with a left hook.  
Wai lands a jab.  
Wai switches the action to the outside.  Wai quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Wai lands a cross, jab and an overhand right to his opponents head.  
Wai lands two straights followed by a jab to his opponents head.

Wai tries to keep the action at long range and hits home with a cross.  
Morishita steps inside.  Wai lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  He then lands a left hook to the head followed by a right hook to the body.

Wai tries to step out of his opponents range and lands a cross followed by a overhand right to his opponents head, AND SENDS MORISHITA TO THE CANVAS!  The count reaches 10, but Morishita is unable to get up!  The winner by KO is Wai!
