Greg Cowden vs Yasin Abad

Boxing Daily Report from the North Star Boxing promoted show at Xcel Energy Center, Saint Paul,  taking place on 12/03/2044:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a mandatory fight for the North American Super Middleweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Fox Sports, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Greg Cowden (29(14) - 2(1)) who hails from Cedar Rapids, USA and Yasin Abad(20(5) - 2(2)) from Worcester, USA.  Both Cowden and Abad weighed in at 168 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Ian Soderberg, and the three ringside judges are Harry Streblow, Zachary Mattus and Phil Bertel.  

Round 1:
