Umair Ayub vs Jay-Jay Kontagora

Boxing Daily Report from the Chirambo Promotions promoted show at Kano Miah, Kano,  taking place on 01/02/2044:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Nigeria-Kano State Super Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Umair Ayub (1 - 4(1) - 1) who hails from Kano, Nigeria and Jay-Jay Kontagora(25 - 17(1) - 4) from Kano, Nigeria.  Both Ayub and Kontagora weighed in at 140 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Nathaniel Abiola, and the three ringside judges are Azubuike Umeasiegbu, Lukman Aderemi and Chigozie Oliha.  

Round 1: 

Kontagora drops his hands, and waves his opponent in.  Ayub attempts to land a cross, but Kontagora sidesteps and counters with a cross.  
Ayub feints a jab, tricking Kontagora into countering with a cross.  Ayub avoids the shot and counters with a right uppercut.
