Xeres Magtalas vs Nicandro Caragay

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Philippines-NCR promoted show at Rizal Memorial Boxing Gym, Manila,  taking place on 01/02/2044:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Philippines-NCR Super Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on IBC, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Xeres Magtalas (21(8) - 2(1) - 1) who hails from Pasig, Philippines and Nicandro Caragay(47(42) - 2(2)) from Manila, Philippines.  Magtalas weighed in at 140 pounds, while Caragay weighed in at 139 pounds And 15 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Diego Omictin, and the three ringside judges are Juan Sangil, Rex Melero and Rob Mahinay.
