Satoshi Shinsato vs Michi Takahashi

Boxing Daily Report from the Montreal's Top Gym promoted show at Hanshin Racecourse, Takarazuka,  taking place on 19/02/2044:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Japan Super Middleweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Satoshi Shinsato (10(10) - 0) who hails from Toyonaka, Japan and Michi Takahashi(13(2) - 0) from Sakai, Japan.  Both Shinsato and Takahashi weighed in at 168 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Kazuhiko Fujii, and the three ringside judges are Takeo Fukunaga, Fumio Imai and Takeo Miyamoto.  

Round 1: 

Shinsato drives a sharp left hook into Takahashi's body.  
Shinsato lands a left hook.  Shinsato attempts to land a left hook, but Takahashi parries the shot and counters with a sharp left uppercut.  
Takahashi advances into close range.  Shinsato lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Shinsato quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  As Shinsato tries to work on the inside, the fighters heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Takahashi dabs at his face checking for damage.  
Takahashi lands a jab to his opponents body.  
Takahashi pivots to the side of his opponent.  Shinsato throws a cross, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
Shinsato closes the distance.  Takahashi digs in a right hook to Shinsato's ribcage.  
Shinsato lands a left hook, right hook and a left hook to his opponents body.  
Shinsato connects with a right hook.  
Shinsato drives a jab into Takahashi's body.  
Shinsato stands off with low guard waiting for his opponent to launch an attack.  Takahashi lands with a spiteful jab.  
Takahashi pivots from in front of his opponent.  Shinsato tries to land a left hook, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a right uppercut.  
Takahashi tries to land a left hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a firm left uppercut.  
Takahashi lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Shinsato hits home with a sharp right hook.  
Shinsato pivots to the left of his opponent and is on target with a solid right hook to Takahashi's body.  
Shinsato is on target with a sharp left hook to his opponents liver.  
Shinsato pivots to the left of his opponent.  Shinsato attempts to land a left hook, but Takahashi blocks the shot and counters with a right hook.  
Shinsato lands a left hook to the body followed by a right hook to the head, AND STUNS HIS OPPONENT!  
Shinsato walks Takahashi down, trapping him in a corner.  Shinsato is really starting to turn up the heat!  He senses a stoppage here.  Shinsato lands a left hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents head, AND KNOCKS TAKAHASHI DOWN!  He manages to get up at 4.  
Shinsato lands a right hook, cross and a right uppercut to his opponents head, AND DROPS TAKAHASHI TO THE CANVAS!  He is on his feet as the count reaches 7.  Takahashi now seems to have got his legs back.  
Shinsato pivots to the left of his opponent.  Shinsato throws a right hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a left hook.  
Shinsato switches the action to the outside and is on target with a stinging cross.  
Shinsato is looking to close the distance and digs in a sharp left hook to Takahashi's body.  Shinsato tries to land a right hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a left uppercut to his opponents body.  
Shinsato lands a left hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents body.  
Shinsato gets on the inside.  Takahashi tries to land a right uppercut, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a right hook.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Takahashi's trainer is telling his fighter to increase his workrate.  Takahashi's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.

Takahashi gets on the inside.  Shinsato lands a left hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents head.  
Takahashi connects with a sharp left hook.  
Shinsato is on target with a ramrod jab.  Shinsato tries to land a left uppercut, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a firm left uppercut.  
Shinsato hits the target with a spiteful jab.  
Takahashi walks Shinsato down, trapping him on the ropes.  Shinsato lands a cross, jab and a cross to his opponents head.  THAT HURT HIS OPPONENT!  
Shinsato senses a stoppage victory - he just needs the right shot.  Shinsato lands a left uppercut followed by a cross to his opponents head, AND DOWN GOES TAKAHASHI!  He beats the count, getting up at 7.  It looks like Takahashi has now recovered from that shot earlier.  
Shinsato advances into close range.  Shinsato pivots to the right of his opponent and lands a left hook, right hook and a left hook to his opponents head.  
Shinsato lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents head, AND KNOCKS TAKAHASHI DOWN!  He beats the count, getting up at 4.  
Shinsato manages to force Takahashi into the corner.  Shinsato knows Takahashi is hurt...he is putting the pressure on now, looking for the stoppage.  Shinsato lands a cross, right hook and a left uppercut to his opponents head, AND SENDS TAKAHASHI TO THE CANVAS!  The ref waves off the fight.  He does not believe Takahashi can continue!  The fight has been stopped!  The winner by TKO is Shinsato!
