Paris Takes vs Andries Manikas

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Greece-Central Macedonia promoted show at Thessaloniki Vidales, Thessaloniki,  taking place on 06/02/2044:

Clearly AI Greece-Central Macedonia have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Greece-Central Macedonia Super Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Paris Takes (4 - 7 - 8) who hails from Thessaloniki, Greece and Andries Manikas(4 - 22(2) - 8) from Thessaloniki, Greece.  Both Takes and Manikas weighed in at 140 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Abydos Mavros, and the three ringside judges are Cleon Asker, Abydos Mavros and Jurgisr Palamara.  

Round 1: 

Takes tries to land a right hook, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a cross.  
Manikas steps inside.  Takes connects with a left hook.  
Takes is on target with a right hook to Manikas's body.  
Takes throws a short cross to the body, but lands low!  The ref stops the action.  The ref sends Manikas to the neutral corner.  He threatens Takes with a point deduction if he keeps fouling.  
Manikas is looking to close the distance.  Takes throws a left hook, but misses the target.  Takes clinches his opponent.  Manikas leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref breaks Takes's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Takes switches the action to the outside and lands an overhand left followed by a overhand right to his opponents head.  
Manikas quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and connects with a right hook.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Takes's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.  Manikas's trainer is advising how he could improve the accuracy of his work.  Manikas's trainer is telling his fighter he is being outworked and needs to throw more.
