Jake Day vs Mark McClure

Boxing Daily Report from the T Promotion promoted show at Tulsa Mulryan, Tulsa,  taking place on 05/02/2044:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the USA-Oklahoma Super Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Jake Day (15(10) - 1(1)) who hails from Oklahoma City, USA and Mark McClure(8 - 10(1) - 2) from Oklahoma City, USA.  Day weighed in at 130 pounds, while McClure weighed in at 129 pounds and 10 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Lucas Symington, and the three ringside judges are Alexander Brady, Charles McCaa and Josh Craighead.  

Round 1: 

Day sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Day attempts to land a jab, but McClure sidesteps and counters with a right uppercut to Day's body.  
Day gets on the inside and lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  
Day lands a right uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  
McClure closes the distance.  Day digs in a solid left uppercut to his opponents body.  
Day steps inside and is on target with a left hook to his opponents body.  Day holds on to his opponent.  As they grapple, Day pushes his forearm into McClure's face.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Day about fouling.  
Day advances into close range and throws a left uppercut, but is unable to get through his opponents guard.  Day holds on to his opponent.  Day leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref breaks Day's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Day drives a solid left hook into his opponents liver.  
Day closes the distance and lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  Day holds on to his opponent.  Day throws a hook within the clinch but hits his opponent behind the head. The ref breaks Day's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Day lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  
Day drives a firm cross into his opponents body.  
Day is looking to close the distance and lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Day sidesteps to the right of his opponent and lands a right hook to the body followed by a left uppercut to the head.  
Day closes the distance.  Day pivots to the right of his opponent and lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents body, AND DROPS MCCLURE TO THE CANVAS!  He manages to get up at 4.  McClure almost instantly recovers. 
Day forces McClure to retreat into a corner.  Day quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and drives a solid right hook into his opponents body.  
McClure throws a right hook, but Day ties up his opponent.  Day is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref separates the two fighters.

Day lands a left hook to the body followed by a left uppercut to the head.  
Day lands a left hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents body.  
McClure is looking to close the distance.  Day lands a left hook to the body, a right hook to the head and a right hook to the body.  Day clinches his opponent.  Day leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
McClure walks his opponent into the corner.  Day is on target with a right uppercut to McClure's body.

At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...McClure's trainer is telling his fighter he is being outworked and needs to throw more.  McClure's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.

Day closes the distance and slams a spiteful left uppercut into McClure's body.  IT LOOKS LIKE MCCLURE WAS HURT BY THAT SHOT!  McClure almost instantly recovers. 
Day lands a left uppercut to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  
Day advances into close range and is on target with a right hook to his opponents ribcage.  
Day digs in a right hook to his opponents body.  
Day lands a right uppercut to the head, a left hook to the body and a right hook to the body.  
Day lands a right uppercut to the body followed by a right hook to the head.  
Day digs in a right uppercut to his opponents body.  
Day is on target with a firm right hook.  
Day closes the distance and lands a left hook to the head followed by a left uppercut to the body, AND STUNS HIS OPPONENT!  Day clinches his opponent.  Day leans on his opponent using all his weight. The referee breaks the clinch and warns Day to stop holding.  McClure quickly recovers. 
Day pivots to the right of his opponent and crashes a big right hook to McClure's body.  IT LOOKS LIKE MCCLURE WAS HURT BY THAT SHOT!  McClure quickly recovers.

McClure attempts to land a right hook, but Day blocks the shot and counters with a stinging right uppercut.  
McClure closes the distance.  Day digs in a sharp left hook to McClure's liver.  Day ties up his opponent.  Day uses his free hand to throw a hook, but it hits McClure behind the head. The referee separates the two fighters and warns Day to stop holding.  
Day lands a left hook to the body, a right hook to the head and a left uppercut to the head.  
Day lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Day lands a right hook to the head followed by a left hook to the body, AND MCCLURE IS DOWN!  He manages to get up at 4.  
Day drives a right hook into McClure's ribs.
