Malcolm Gibson vs Tujan Nolette

Boxing Daily Report from the Elliot Britton promoted show at Elliot Gym, Bristol,  taking place on 15/01/2044:

Clearly Elliot Britton have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 4 round matchup are Malcolm Gibson (1 - 0) who hails from Colchester, UK and Tujan Nolette(2 - 0) from Strasbourg, France.  Gibson weighed in at 140 pounds, while Nolette weighed in at 139 pounds And 4 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Ron MacArthur, and the three ringside judges are Dominic Sayer, Theo Coslett and Lloyd Mahaffy.  

Round 1: 

Gibson is looking to close the distance.  Nolette pivots to the right of his opponent.  Nolette throws a right hook, but Gibson ties up his opponent.  The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.

Gibson is on target with a right hook to his opponents body.  Gibson holds on to his opponent.  As they grapple, Gibson pushes his forearm into Nolette's face.  The ref separates the two fighters.  
Gibson hits home with a solid right hook.  The two boxers are fighting in-close, but their heads clash!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Gibson dabs at his face checking for damage.

At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Nolette's trainer is suggesting ways of getting through to his opponent.  Nolette's trainer is telling his fighter he needs to be more active or he's going to get outworked.  Nolette's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.

Nolette steps to the outside and throws a cross, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a stinging cross.
