Charlie Jones vs Patrick Wigton

Boxing Daily Report from the Badoe Promotions promoted show at Indianapolis Castellaw, Indianapolis,  taking place on 07/02/2044:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the USA-Indiana Middleweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Charlie Jones (11(1) - 6(1) - 1) who hails from Indianapolis, USA and Patrick Wigton(3 - 13 - 2) from Indianapolis, USA.  Jones weighed in at 160 pounds, while Wigton weighed in at 160 pounds And 8 ounces.    As Wigton came in over the weight limit, only his opponent will be able to compete for the final eliminator position tonight.  
The referee tonight is Sam Skilling, and the three ringside judges are Callum Lockard, Zach Greenway and Tobias Gowans.  

Round 1: 

Jones gets on the inside and hits home with a left hook.

Wigton sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Jones connects with a cross.  
Jones closes the distance.  Wigton pivots to the left of his opponent.  Wigton tries to land a right uppercut, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a stinging left uppercut.  
Jones lands a right uppercut to the head followed by a left uppercut to the body.  He continues the combination and lands a double right hook to his opponents head.  
Wigton is on target with a jab.  
Wigton walks his opponent down, trapping him in a corner.  Jones finds the target with a jab.  
Jones advances into close range and connects with a right hook.

Jones pivots to the left of his opponent.  Wigton throws a right hook, but Jones holds on to his opponent.  As they grapple, Jones pushes his forearm into Wigton's face.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Jones.

That has caused slight swelling  around the left eye.
