Angel Picon vs Santiago Civil

Boxing Daily Report from the Yalley Promotions promoted show at Guayaquil Lopez, Guayaquil,  taking place on 11/02/2044:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Ecuador Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Angel Picon (21(9) - 5(1) - 1) who hails from Portoviejo, Ecuador and Santiago Civil(6 - 3(1) - 3) from Guayaquil, Ecuador.  Both Picon and Civil weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Juan Martinez, and the three ringside judges are Alfonso Cilia, Juan Hernandez and Jax Civil.  

Round 1: 

Picon steps inside and lands a left hook to the head, a left uppercut to the head and a left hook to the body.  Picon clinches his opponent.  Picon is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Picon closes the distance.  Civil pivots to the side of his opponent.  Civil throws a left hook, but Picon clinches his opponent.  Picon pushes his forearm into Civil's face.  The ref breaks Picon's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Picon walks his opponent down, trapping him in the corner.  Picon lands a left hook to the body, a right uppercut to the head and a right hook to the body.  THAT HURT HIS OPPONENT!  
Picon is really starting to turn up the heat!  He senses a stoppage here.  Picon lands a right hook to the head followed by a right uppercut to the body.  He follows up the attack and lands a right uppercut followed by a left uppercut to his opponents body, AND SENDS CIVIL TO THE CANVAS!  He is on his feet as the count reaches 4.  
Picon crashes a spiteful left hook to Civil's liver.  DOWN GOES CIVIL!  He manages to get up at 5.  Civil now seems to have recovered from the bodyshot.  
Picon closes the distance and digs in a firm right hook to his opponents ribcage.  
Civil steps to the outside.  Picon connects with a solid cross.  
Picon steps inside and drives a right hook into his opponents body.  
Picon closes the distance and cuts off the ring, trapping Civil on the ropes.  Picon quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Picon lands a left uppercut.  Picon ties up his opponent.  Picon is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref separates the two fighters.  
Civil steps to the outside.  Picon lands a cross, overhand right and a cross to his opponents head.  
Picon steps inside and digs in a sharp left hook to his opponents body.  
Picon closes the distance.  Civil throws a left hook, but Picon ties up his opponent.  Picon tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Civil behind the head. Picon tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Civil's kidney. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Picon manages to force Civil onto the ropes.  Picon hits home with a sharp right hook.  
Civil is looking to keep the action on the outside.  Picon lands a cross.  
Picon gets on the inside and digs in a stinging left uppercut to Civil's body.  
Picon is looking to close the distance and is on target with a sharp right hook.  
Picon throws a right hook, but his opponent avoids the punch with a sidestep.  Picon holds on to his opponent.  As they grapple, Picon pushes his forearm into Civil's face.  The ref separates the two fighters.  
Picon advances into close range and lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Picon advances into close range.  Picon pivots from in front of his opponent.  Picon lands a left uppercut to the head followed by two right hook's to the body.  Picon ties up his opponent.  Picon is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Picon about fouling.  
Picon is looking to close the distance and lands a left uppercut to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  THAT HURT HIS OPPONENT!  
Picon thinks he can end the show early....he's looking to put Civil away.  Picon whips in a DEVASTATING right hook to his opponents ribcage.  DOWN GOES CIVIL!  THE REF DOES NOT GIVE CIVIL THE CHANCE TO BEAT THE COUNT...HE'S STOPPING THE FIGHT!  The fight has been stopped!  The winner by TKO is Picon!
