Pernell Platini vs Roy Lescot

Boxing Daily Report from the Kolektif Chans Puncher a promoted show at Boswell Notte Gym, Carrefour,  taking place on 13/02/2044:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Haiti Super Middleweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on RTVC, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Pernell Platini (4 - 5(1)) who hails from Port-au-Prince, Haiti and Roy Lescot(13(7) - 6(4)) from Carrefour, Haiti.  Platini weighed in at 168 pounds And 8 ounces, while Lescot weighed in at 168 pounds.    As Platini came in over the weight limit, only his opponent will be able to compete for the final eliminator position tonight.  
The referee tonight is Vivien Fouche, and the three ringside judges are Jeremie Phillippe, Chivalry Trzeguet and Colville Dumas.  

Round 1: 

Lescot lands with a hard jab.

Platini quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Lescot hits the target with a stiff jab.

Lescot steps inside.  Platini connects with a left uppercut.  Platini tries to land a left hook, but Lescot slips the shot and counters with a cross.  
Lescot quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands a jab.  
Lescot hits home with an overhand right.  Lescot attempts to land a cross, but Platini sidesteps and counters with a left hook.  
Lescot finds the target with a hard jab.  
Lescot gets on the inside and lands a left uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  
Platini goes for the bodyshot, but lands south of the border!  The ref ignores Lescot's complaints and signals for the action to continue.
