Zhuang Peng vs Rehan Kaba

Boxing Daily Report from the Plunder Boxing promoted show at KLCC Exhibition Hall, Kuala Lumpur,  taking place on 22/02/2044:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Zhuang Peng (8(6) - 0) who hails from Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia and Rehan Kaba(20 - 14(1) - 7) from Petaling Jaya, Malaysia.  Both Peng and Kaba weighed in at 112 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Haaris Aziz, and the three ringside judges are Syed Kamel, Amjad Hamdan and Randeep Garg.  

Round 1: 

Peng advances into close range and lands a left hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents body.  
Kaba throws a right hook, but Peng holds on to his opponent.  Peng pushes his forearm into Kaba's face.  The referee warns Peng and breaks the clinch.  
Peng lands a left hook to the head followed by a right uppercut to the body.  He continues the combination and lands two right hooks to the body, and one to the head.  Peng clinches his opponent.  Peng is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. Peng tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Kaba behind the head. As they grapple, Peng pushes his forearm into Kaba's face.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Peng about fouling.  
Peng lands a right hook.  Peng holds on to his opponent.  Peng throws a hook within the clinch but hits his opponent behind the head. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Peng is on target with a left hook to Kaba's liver.  
Peng drives a left hook into his opponents body.  
Peng lands a right hook to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  Peng clinches his opponent.  Peng is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref separates the two fighters.  
Kaba throws a left hook, but Peng clinches his opponent.  Peng leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Peng lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  He then lands a left hook to the head followed by a right uppercut to the body, AND DROPS KABA!  He is back up on his feet at 4.  
Peng knows Kaba is hurt...he is putting the pressure on now, looking for the stoppage.  Peng lands a right uppercut to the body, a right hook to the head and a right uppercut to the body.  He then lands a left hook to the body, a right hook to the head and a right uppercut to the head.  
Peng drives a forceful right uppercut into Kaba's ribs.  KABA IS SENT SPRAWLING TO THE CANVAS!  He manages to get up at 4.  Kaba now seems to have recovered from the bodyshot.  
Peng lands a right hook to the body, a left uppercut to the head and a right hook to the body.  
Peng lands a cross to the head followed by two right hook's to the body.  
Peng gets on the inside and lands a left uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  
Peng drives a right hook into Kaba's ribcage.  
Peng is on target with a stinging right hook to Kaba's body.  
Peng is on target with a stinging right uppercut to his opponents body.  
Peng is on target with a left uppercut to his opponents ribs.  
Peng closes the distance and lands a right hook.  
Peng tries to land a right hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a right hook to his opponents body.  
Peng lands a right uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Kaba's trainer is advising how he could improve the accuracy of his work.  Kaba's trainer is telling his fighter he needs to be more active or he's going to get outworked.  Kaba's trainer is telling his fighter to tighten his defence.

Peng lands a left hook followed by  two right hooks to his opponents body.  HE HAS HIS OPPONENT IN TROUBLE!  
Peng is on target with a weighty right hook to his opponents body.  Kaba now seems to have recovered from the bodyshot.  
Peng is on target with a solid right hook to Kaba's ribcage.  
Peng gets on the inside and lands two right hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Peng snaps his opponents head back with a hard jab.  
Peng closes the distance.  Peng is on target with a left hook to Kaba's ribs.  As Peng tries to work on the inside, the fighters heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Kaba dabs at his face checking for damage.  Kaba has taken some damage there.  That has caused minor swelling  around the right eye.  
Peng drives a solid right hook into Kaba's ribcage.  KABA WAS STUNNED BY THAT SHOT!  Kaba recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
Peng gets on the inside and lands a right hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents body.  
Peng lands two right hooks to his opponents ribs, AND KABA IS KNOCKED DOWN!  He beats the count, getting up at 4.  
Peng steps inside and is on target with a firm right hook to Kaba's ribcage.  Peng ties up his opponent.  Peng throws a hook within the clinch but hits his opponent behind the head. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Peng lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  He then lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  
Peng cuts off the ring, trapping Kaba on the ropes.  Peng drives a stinging left uppercut into his opponents body.  
Peng drives a weighty right uppercut into his opponents ribs.  DOWN GOES KABA!  He is on his feet as the count reaches 5.  Peng holds on to his opponent.  Peng is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.

As the two fighters work on the inside, their heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Kaba dabs at his face checking for damage.    That accidental headbutt has resulted in some damage to Kaba.  The foul has worsened the damage  around the right eye.

Peng lands a right uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents body, AND DOWN GOES KABA!  He is on his feet as the count reaches 4.  It looks like Kaba has now recovered from that earlier bodyshot.  
Peng is on target with a right uppercut to his opponents body.  Peng clinches his opponent.  Peng leans on his opponent using all his weight. The referee separates the two fighters and warns Peng to stop holding.

Kaba could be stopped here, if Peng can find the right shot!  Peng lands a left uppercut, right uppercut and a left hook to his opponents body, AND KNOCKS KABA DOWN!  He beats the count, getting up at 6.  It looks like Kaba has now recovered from that earlier bodyshot.  
Peng steps inside and is on target with a powerful right hook to his opponents ribs.  KABA HAS BEEN KNOCKED DOWN!  HE TRIES TO RISE BUT HIS LEGS DONT RESPOND...THE COUNT REACHES 10!  The winner by KO is Peng!
