Manuel Rodriguez vs Lakshman Tokas

Boxing Daily Report from the Montreal's Top Gym promoted show at Hanshin Racecourse, Takarazuka,  taking place on 19/02/2044:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Manuel Rodriguez (8(8) - 0 - 1) who hails from Viba del Mar, Chile and Lakshman Tokas(37(3) - 9(6) - 2) from Fukuoka, Japan.  Rodriguez weighed in at 174 pounds and 9 ounces, while Tokas weighed in at 174 pounds and 13 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Kazuhiko Fujii, and the three ringside judges are Fumio Imai, Takeo Fukunaga and Takeo Miyamoto.  

Round 1: 

Rodriguez lands with a hard jab.  
Rodriguez attempts to land a jab, but Tokas slips the shot and counters with a left hook to Rodriguez's body.  
Tokas walks Rodriguez down, trapping him on the ropes.  Tokas drives a right uppercut into his opponents body.  
Rodriguez feints a jab, and then lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Tokas feints a left hook, and then drives a stinging cross into Rodriguez's body.  
Rodriguez is on target with a ramrod jab.  
Rodriguez quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and is on target with a right uppercut.  
Rodriguez switches the action to the outside.  Tokas hits home with a stinging cross.  Tokas throws an uppercut to the body, but lands well below the belt!  The ref stops the action and gives Rodriguez time to recover.  
Rodriguez steps to the outside.  Tokas hits home with an overhand left.  
Tokas lands with a solid jab.  
Tokas manouvers Rodriguez onto the ropes.  Rodriguez lands a right hook to the body followed by a jab to the head, AND HIS OPPONENT IS HURT!  Tokas almost instantly recovers. 
Tokas finds the target with a jab.  Tokas tries to land a right uppercut, but Rodriguez sidesteps and counters with a left uppercut.  
Rodriguez lands a cross followed by a overhand right to his opponents head.  THAT HURT HIS OPPONENT!  Tokas almost instantly gets his legs back. 
Rodriguez lands a spiteful jab.  
Rodriguez lands a double jab to his opponents head.  Rodriguez tries to land a jab, but Tokas sidesteps and counters with a right uppercut.  
Rodriguez hits the target with a hard jab.  
Rodriguez tries to keep the action at long range.  Tokas is on target with a cross.  
Tokas lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Rodriguez switches the action to the outside and lands a cross to the body, and then to the head.  
Rodriguez is looking to keep his distance and is on target with a ramrod jab.  
Rodriguez hits home with a firm cross.  
Rodriguez throws a jab, but his opponent dodges the shot and counters with a cross.

Tokas manages to force Rodriguez onto the ropes.  Rodriguez lands a sharp jab.  
Rodriguez drives a sharp left hook into Tokas's body.  
Rodriguez steps away from his opponent and hits home with a sharp overhand left.  
Rodriguez lands a jab to the body, a jab to the head and an overhand left to the head.  
Rodriguez feints a jab, but Tokas ignores the feint and responds with a right hook.

Tokas manages to force Rodriguez onto the ropes.  Tokas lands a cross to the body followed by a jab to the head.  
Rodriguez switches the action to the outside.  Rodriguez feints a right hook, and then lands an overhand right followed by a cross to his opponents head.  
Tokas tries to land an overhand right, but Rodriguez slips the shot and counters with a solid cross.  
Tokas lands with a sharp jab.  
Rodriguez lands a solid cross.  
Rodriguez is on target with a hard jab.  
Tokas tries to land a jab, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a nasty right uppercut to his opponents body.  TOKAS WAS STUNNED BY THAT SHOT!  
Tokas is looking to close the distance.  The right shot from Rodriguez could be enough to force the stoppage!  Rodriguez lands a left hook followed by  two right hooks to his opponents body, KNOCKING TOKAS DOWN!  He is back up on his feet at 4.  
Rodriguez lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents body, AND TOKAS IS DOWN!  He is on his feet as the count reaches 4.  Tokas now seems to have recovered from the bodyshot.  
Rodriguez lands a double jab to his opponents head.  Rodriguez attempts to land a left uppercut, but Tokas parries the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
Rodriguez steps away from his opponent and lands a cross to the body, an overhand right to the head and a jab to the head.  HE HAS HIS OPPONENT IN TROUBLE!  Tokas recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
At the end of Round 2, lets listen in on the corners...Tokas's trainer is advising how he could be more accurate.

Tokas closes the distance.  Tokas pivots to the left of his opponent.  Tokas throws a right hook, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a stinging left uppercut.  
Tokas advances into close range and manages to force Rodriguez onto the ropes.  Rodriguez drives a left hook into Tokas's ribs.  
Rodriguez is on target with a cross to Tokas's body.  
Rodriguez lands a WICKED cross.  TOKAS IS SENT SPRAWLING TO THE CANVAS!  HE REMAINS ON THE CANVAS AS THE COUNT REACHES 10!  The winner by KO is Rodriguez!
