Leys Gauchy vs Eloi Joos

Boxing Daily Report from the William Peskens promoted show at Daaf Aernouds Gym, Antwerp,  taking place on 17/02/2044:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Belgium-Flanders Middleweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Leys Gauchy (3(3) - 0) who hails from Antwerp, Belgium and Eloi Joos(4 - 13 - 2) from Bruges, Belgium.  Both Gauchy and Joos weighed in at 160 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Jeremy Van Driessche, and the three ringside judges are Polle Van den Broucke, Michele Peyt and Bobbejaan Van Britsom.  

Round 1: 

Gauchy advances into close range.  Joos pivots to the side of his opponent.  Gauchy digs in a firm left hook to Joos's ribs.  Gauchy holds on to his opponent.  Gauchy is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Gauchy lands a left hook, right hook and a right uppercut to his opponents body.  Gauchy holds on to his opponent.  Gauchy is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref breaks Gauchy's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Gauchy lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs.  He follows up the attack and lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  Gauchy clinches his opponent.  As they grapple, Gauchy pushes his forearm into Joos's face.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Gauchy.  
Gauchy lands a right uppercut followed by a left uppercut to his opponents body.  
Joos pivots to the right of his opponent.  Gauchy tries to land a jab, but Joos slips the shot and counters with a right hook.  
Joos walks Gauchy down, trapping him in a corner.  Joos quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Gauchy is on target with a stinging cross.  
Gauchy lands with a solid jab.  
Gauchy is looking to close the distance and throws a left hook, but the shot lands on his opponents guard.  Gauchy clinches his opponent.  Gauchy is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref separates the two fighters.  
Gauchy gets on the inside and lands a left hook.  
Gauchy digs in a stinging left hook to Joos's liver.  
Gauchy connects with a firm right hook.  
Gauchy lands a left hook to the body followed by a right hook to the head, AND STUNS HIS OPPONENT!  Gauchy ties up his opponent.  Gauchy throws a hook within the clinch but hits his opponent behind the head. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  Joos recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
Joos sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Gauchy lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Gauchy advances into close range and lands a right hook, left uppercut and a right hook to his opponents body.  
Gauchy is looking to close the distance and whips in a mean right hook to his opponents body.  JOOS IS HURT!  
Gauchy stalks his opponent...he just needs the right shot to put his opponent away!  Gauchy crashes a big left uppercut to Joos's body.  JOOS IS SENT SPRAWLING TO THE CANVAS!  He is back up on his feet at 4.  
Gauchy steps inside.  Gauchy lands a right hook to the body, a left uppercut to the head and a left uppercut to the body, KNOCKING JOOS DOWN!  He manages to get up at 4.  Joos now seems to have recovered from the bodyshot.  
Gauchy gets on the inside and digs in a right uppercut to Joos's ribs.  
Gauchy digs in a sharp right hook to his opponents body.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Joos's trainer is suggesting ways of getting through to his opponent.  Joos's trainer is telling his fighter to tighten his defence.

Gauchy lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents body, KNOCKING JOOS DOWN!  He is on his feet as the count reaches 4.  
It looks like Joos has now recovered from that earlier bodyshot.  
Gauchy lands two right hooks to his opponents ribs.  He follows up the attack and lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs.  Gauchy holds on to his opponent.  Gauchy pushes his forearm into Joos's face.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Gauchy about fouling.  
Gauchy advances into close range and lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  
Gauchy gets on the inside and lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  THAT HURT HIS OPPONENT!  Joos quickly recovers. 
Joos attempts to land a right uppercut, but Gauchy sidesteps and counters with a sharp right uppercut.  
Gauchy pivots to the left of his opponent and lands a left uppercut to the head, a right hook to the body and a left hook to the body, AND STUNS HIS OPPONENT!  
The right shot from Gauchy could be enough to force the stoppage!  Gauchy lands a right uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents body, DROPPING JOOS TO THE CANVAS!  He beats the count, getting up at 5.  Joos now seems to have recovered from the bodyshot.  
Gauchy is looking to close the distance and lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs, KNOCKING JOOS DOWN!  He is on his feet as the count reaches 6.  Joos recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
Gauchy drives a sharp left hook into Joos's body.  Gauchy holds on to his opponent.  Gauchy tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Joos behind the head. Gauchy leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref breaks Gauchy's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Gauchy lands a left uppercut followed by a right uppercut to his opponents body.  HE HAS HIS OPPONENT IN TROUBLE!  Joos quickly recovers.
