Felix Goar vs Andy Hendron

Boxing Daily Report from the Brenin Promotions promoted show at Temple Theater, Des Moines,  taking place on 18/02/2044:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 8 round matchup are Felix Goar (3 - 0) who hails from Des Moines, USA and Andy Hendron(2 - 2 - 3) from Henderson, USA.  Both Goar and Hendron weighed in at 140 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Stephen Kidd, and the three ringside judges are David Crosbie, Rob Winning and Colin Dickins.  

Round 1: 

Hendron gets on the inside.  Goar lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs.  He then lands a left uppercut to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  Goar holds on to his opponent.  As they grapple, Goar pushes his forearm into Hendron's face.  The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Hendron walks his opponent down, trapping him on the ropes.  Goar digs in a left hook to his opponents body.  
Hendron is on target with a right uppercut.  
Goar switches the action to the outside.  Goar feints a left hook, and then drives a jab into his opponents body.  
Hendron gets on the inside.  Goar lands a solid left hook.  Goar clinches his opponent.  As they grapple, Goar pushes his forearm into Hendron's face.  The ref breaks Goar's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Goar is looking to keep the action on the outside and is on target with a jab.

Hendron quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Goar lands three consecutive straights to his opponents head.  
Goar steps away from his opponent.  Goar feints a right hook, and then hits home with a sharp jab.  
Goar drives a jab into Hendron's body.  
Goar pivots to the left of his opponent and hits home with a stiff jab.  
Goar is looking to keep the action on the outside.  Goar feints a cross, and then lands an overhand right followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Hendron cuts off the ring, trapping Goar on the ropes.  Goar lands a cross.  
Goar steps away from his opponent.  Goar feints a cross, fooling Hendron into launching a right hook counter.  Goar avoids the shot and counters with a right hook.

Goar lands a jab, cross and an overhand right to his opponents head.  
Goar lands a cross.  
Hendron throws a jab, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a left hook.  
Goar is looking to keep the action on the outside.  Goar feints a right hook, and then lands with a spiteful jab.

Hendron feints a cross, but Goar does not fall for it and is on target with a sharp left hook.

The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Goar about fouling.  
Goar knows it could take just a few clean shots to force the stoppage.  Goar lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  He follows up the attack and lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents body, AND SENDS HENDRON TO THE CANVAS!  He is on his feet as the count reaches 5.

The ref waves off the fight.  He does not believe Hendron can continue!  The fight has been stopped!  The winner by TKO is Goar!
