Dom Kay vs Mick Bissett

Boxing Daily Report from the Maple Promotion promoted show at Toronto Horsburgh, Toronto,  taking place on 17/02/2044:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Canada-Ontario Super Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Dom Kay (13 - 17(1) - 3) who hails from Toronto, Canada and Mick Bissett(4 - 4(1) - 5) from Toronto, Canada.  Both Kay and Bissett weighed in at 140 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Dave Brown, and the three ringside judges are Mark Mowat, Callum Berry and Stuart Gavin.  

Round 1: 

Bissett forces Kay to back into a neutral corner.  Bissett pivots to the right of his opponent and connects with a cross.  
Kay steps inside.  Kay voluntarily retreats back onto the ropes...he waves his opponent in!  Bissett is whaling away with hooks, but Kay keeps his defence tight.  
Kay steps inside.  Bissett pivots to the right of his opponent.  Kay connects with a right uppercut.  
Bissett tries to keep the action at long range and throws a cross, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a left hook.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Kay's trainer is telling his fighter he is being outworked and needs to throw more.  Bissett's trainer is advising how he could improve the accuracy of his work.
