Ian Duffey vs David Jones

Boxing Daily Report from the Namugerwa Promotions promoted show at Edmonton Maddex, Edmonton,  taking place on 18/02/2044:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Canada-Alberta Super Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Ian Duffey (8(5) - 2) who hails from Calgary, Canada and David Jones(6 - 8 - 1) from Edmonton, Canada.  Duffey weighed in at 130 pounds, while Jones weighed in at 130 pounds And 11 ounces.    As Jones came in over the weight limit, only his opponent will be able to compete for the final eliminator position tonight.  
The referee tonight is Glynn Lyne, and the three ringside judges are Charles Wardrop, Rob Spade and David Baxter.
