Ron Friel vs Ken MacKay

Boxing Daily Report from the Granite Promotions promoted show at Glasgow Symington, Glasgow,  taking place on 17/02/2044:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a final eliminator for the British-Scotland Bantamweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Eurosport UK, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Ron Friel (5 - 2) who hails from Glasgow, UK and Ken MacKay(4 - 2 - 1) from Edinburgh, UK.  Friel weighed in at 118 pounds, while MacKay weighed in at 117 pounds and 8 ounces.  
The referee tonight is William Cooper, and the three ringside judges are Andrew Frew, Thomas Ryan and David Hall.
