Eloy Curto vs Santiago Villalva

Boxing Daily Report from the Atsu Promotions promoted show at Santo Domingo Este Cabezas, Santo Domingo Este,  taking place on 20/02/2044:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Dominican Republic-Santo Domingo Bantamweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Eloy Curto (13(12) - 0) who hails from Santo Domingo Norte, Dominican Republic and Santiago Villalva(5 - 15 - 3) from Santo Domingo Este, Dominican Republic.  Curto weighed in at 117 pounds and 14 ounces, while Villalva weighed in at 118 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Nemesio Carrero, and the three ringside judges are Juan Henao, Nemesio Carrero and Diego Miera.  

Round 1: 

Villalva gets on the inside.  Curto is on target with a left uppercut.  Curto ties up his opponent.  As they grapple, Curto pushes his forearm into Villalva's face.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns Curto to stop fouling.  
Curto is looking to close the distance.  Curto pivots to the right of his opponent and lands a right hook to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  
Curto lands a left uppercut, left hook and a left uppercut to his opponents body.  Curto holds on to his opponent.  Curto leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Curto lands a left hook to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  
Curto steps inside.  Curto pivots to the side of his opponent and is on target with a right hook to his opponents body.  
Curto pivots to the side of his opponent.  Villalva throws a right hook, but Curto clinches his opponent.  Villalva leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref separates the two fighters.  
Curto drives a right hook into Villalva's body.  Curto attempts to land a right uppercut, but Villalva slips the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
Curto steps inside.  Villalva pivots to the side of his opponent.  Curto lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  Curto ties up his opponent.  The ref breaks Curto's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Curto steps back and leans on the ropes with his guard up.  Villalva steps in throwing power shots but is unable to land cleanly.  
Villalva quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Curto digs in a solid left hook to Villalva's ribs.  
Curto lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  
Curto lands a left hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents body.  
Curto digs in a sharp left hook to Villalva's body.  
Curto is on target with a sharp left hook.  
Villalva is on target with a left hook.  
Curto is looking to close the distance.  Villalva attempts to land a right hook, but Curto slips the shot and counters with a cross.  
Curto drives a solid right hook into his opponents body.  
Curto is looking to close the distance and lands a left hook to the head, a left hook to the body and a left uppercut to the body.  
Curto lands a left hook, right hook and a left hook to his opponents body.  
Curto lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Curto lands a left hook to the head, a right uppercut to the body and a right hook to the body.  
Villalva sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Curto lands a left hook to the body, a left uppercut to the head and a right hook to the body.  THAT HURT HIS OPPONENT!  
Curto senses a stoppage victory - he just needs the right shot.  Curto lands a right uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  He then lands a left hook followed by  two right uppercuts to his opponents body, AND DROPS VILLALVA TO THE CANVAS!  He beats the count, getting up at 5.  It looks like Villalva has now recovered from that earlier bodyshot.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Villalva's trainer is telling his fighter he is being outworked and needs to throw more.  Villalva's trainer is advising how he could stop so many clean shots getting through.

Curto lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  He follows up the attack and lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents body, AND HIS OPPONENT IS HURT!  
Villalva could be stopped here, if Curto can find the right shot!  Curto crashes a spiteful left hook to his opponents body.  VILLALVA IS DOWN!  He is on his feet as the count reaches 4.  Villalva now seems to have recovered from the bodyshot.  
Curto digs in a solid left hook to his opponents ribs.  
Villalva pivots to the left of his opponent.  Villalva goes for the bodyshot, but lands south of the border!  The ref stops the action and gives Curto time to recover.  
Curto whips in a nasty right uppercut to his opponents ribs.  IT LOOKS LIKE VILLALVA WAS HURT BY THAT SHOT!  Villalva almost instantly recovers. 
Villalva pivots to the side of his opponent.  Curto lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  He continues the combination and lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  HE HAS HIS OPPONENT IN TROUBLE!  Villalva recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
Curto steps inside.  Villalva pivots from in front of his opponent.  Curto digs in a firm left hook to his opponents body.  
Villalva pivots to the left of his opponent.  Curto lands a left uppercut followed by a right uppercut to his opponents body.  He follows up the attack and lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head, AND KNOCKS VILLALVA DOWN!  He beats the count, getting up at 5.  Curto clinches his opponent.  Curto leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  Villalva almost instantly recovers. 
Curto is looking to close the distance and lands three consecutive left hooks to his opponents ribs.

Villalva tries to land a right uppercut, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a firm left uppercut.

Curto closes the distance.  Curto slams a DESTRUCTIVE right uppercut into Villalva's body.  VILLALVA IS SENT SPRAWLING TO THE CANVAS!  THE REF DOES NOT GIVE VILLALVA THE CHANCE TO BEAT THE COUNT...HE'S STOPPING THE FIGHT!  The fight has been stopped!  The winner by TKO is Curto!
