Paul McVicker vs Laken Govender

Boxing Daily Report from the Montreal's Top Gym promoted show at Allegiant stadium, Las Vegas,  taking place on 04/03/2044:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Paul McVicker (25(16) - 1(1)) who hails from Boston, USA and Laken Govender(34(4) - 33(28)) from Randburg, South Africa.  Both McVicker and Govender weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Henry Weddell, and the three ringside judges are Dale Cloyd, Ellis Slight and Edward Almodovar.  

Round 1: 

McVicker closes the distance and is on target with a sharp left hook to Govender's body.  
McVicker hits home with a spiteful jab.  
McVicker gets on the inside.  Govender lands a left hook.  McVicker ties up his opponent.  As they grapple, Govender pushes his forearm into McVicker's face.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns Govender to stop fouling.  
McVicker advances into close range and is on target with a left hook.  McVicker clinches his opponent.  McVicker pushes his forearm into Govender's face.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns McVicker.  
McVicker lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents body, AND HIS OPPONENT IS HURT!  Govender almost instantly recovers. 
McVicker is on target with a firm left uppercut to Govender's body.  McVicker clinches his opponent.  McVicker leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref separates the two fighters.  
McVicker is looking to close the distance and is on target with a left hook to his opponents liver.  
McVicker feints a cross, but Govender does not fall for it and responds with a cross.  
McVicker gets on the inside and lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Govender throws a left uppercut, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a sharp right hook to Govender's body.  
Govender pivots to the side of his opponent.  Govender throws a right hook, but McVicker holds on to his opponent.  McVicker leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
McVicker lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  
McVicker hits home with a firm right uppercut.  
McVicker walks Govender down, trapping him in the blue corner.  McVicker lands a right hook, left hook and a right uppercut to his opponents body.  
Govender throws a left hook, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a left hook.  
McVicker advances into close range and crashes a big right uppercut to his opponents body.  GOVENDER WAS STUNNED BY THAT SHOT!  Govender quickly recovers. 
McVicker lands a left hook to the body followed by a right hook to the head.  
Govender sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  McVicker lands a left hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents body.  
McVicker is on target with a right hook to Govender's body.  
McVicker digs in a stinging left hook to his opponents body.  
McVicker is looking to close the distance.  Govender is on target with a right hook.  
McVicker lands a left uppercut to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  
McVicker lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Govender's trainer is suggesting ways of getting through to his opponent.  Govender's trainer is advising how he could stop so many clean shots getting through.

Round 2: 

McVicker advances into close range and lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  
McVicker lands two left hooks to the body, and one to the head.  
McVicker tries to land a left hook, but Govender slips the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
McVicker manages to force Govender into a neutral corner.  Govender tries to land a left hook, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a right hook.  
McVicker lands a left uppercut to the body, and then to the head.  
McVicker lands a right uppercut to the body followed by a left hook to the head, AND STUNS HIS OPPONENT!  
McVicker senses a stoppage victory - he just needs the right shot.  McVicker connects with a SAVAGE right hook.  GOVENDER HAS BEEN KNOCKED DOWN!  He is back up on his feet at 8.  Govender now seems to have got his legs back.  
McVicker steps inside and is on target with a left hook to his opponents liver.  McVicker attempts to land a right hook, but Govender blocks the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
McVicker quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and is on target with a left hook to Govender's body.  
McVicker throws a jab, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a right uppercut.  
McVicker is looking to close the distance and lands a right uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents body, AND SENDS GOVENDER TO THE CANVAS!  He manages to get up at 5.  
McVicker stalks his opponent...he just needs the right shot to put his opponent away!  McVicker lands a left hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents body, AND DOWN GOES GOVENDER!  The ref waves off the fight.  He does not believe Govender can continue!  The fight has been stopped!  The winner by TKO is McVicker!
