Lucas Griff vs Antoine Jean-Baptiste

Boxing Daily Report from the Phaahla Promotions promoted show at Montreuil Leblanc, Montreuil,  taking place on 23/02/2044:

Clearly Phaahla Promotions have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Lucas Griff (12(10) - 0) who hails from Brisbane, Australia and Antoine Jean-Baptiste(11 - 4 - 3) from Lyon, France.  Griff weighed in at 146 pounds and 13 ounces, while Jean-Baptiste weighed in at 146 pounds and 11 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Campbell Mauriac, and the three ringside judges are Horace Ostheimer, Vachel Paquin and Tugdual Duchesnay.  

Round 1: 

Jean-Baptiste steps inside.  Griff lands a left uppercut, right hook and a left hook to his opponents body.  
Jean-Baptiste throws a left uppercut, but Griff clinches his opponent.  Griff leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref separates the two fighters.  
Griff lands a left hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents body.  He then lands three consecutive left hooks to his opponents ribs.  HE HAS HIS OPPONENT IN TROUBLE!  Jean-Baptiste almost instantly recovers. 
Griff tries to keep the action at long range and lands a cross to the body, and then to the head.  He then lands an overhand right followed by  two straights to his opponents head, AND STUNS HIS OPPONENT!  Jean-Baptiste almost instantly gets his legs back. 
Jean-Baptiste gets on the inside.  Griff lands a left hook to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  
Griff lands two consecutive left uppercuts to his opponents head.  He follows up the attack and lands a left uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  Griff holds on to his opponent.  Griff pushes his forearm into Jean-Baptiste's face.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Griff about fouling.  
Griff tries to keep the action at long range and lands a straight 1 - 2.  He then lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Griff gets on the inside and throws a right hook, but his opponent avoids the shot.  Griff ties up his opponent.  Griff leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Griff switches the action to the outside and lands a straight 1 - 2.  He continues the combination and lands a jab followed by a overhand right to his opponents head.  
Griff lands a straight 1 - 2.  He continues the combination and lands an overhand right followed by a jab to his opponents head, AND HIS OPPONENT IS HURT!  Jean-Baptiste recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
Griff advances into close range.  Jean-Baptiste throws a left hook, but his opponent parries the shot and counters with a cross.  
Griff feints a jab, and then lands a jab to the head followed by a right uppercut to the body.  
Jean-Baptiste is looking to close the distance.  Griff lands a left hook to the head followed by a left uppercut to the body.  
Griff is on target with a left hook to Jean-Baptiste's body.  
Griff lands two left hooks to the body, and one to the head, AND HIS OPPONENT IS HURT!  
Jean-Baptiste now seems to have his senses back.  
Griff is looking to close the distance and throws a right uppercut, but his opponent parries the shot.  Griff ties up his opponent.  Griff leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Griff sidesteps to the right of his opponent and hits home with an overhand left.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Jean-Baptiste's trainer is telling his fighter to increase his workrate.

Jean-Baptiste closes the distance.  Griff lands a right uppercut followed by a left uppercut to his opponents body.  Griff clinches his opponent.  As they grapple, Jean-Baptiste pushes his forearm into Griff's face.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns Jean-Baptiste to stop fouling.  
Jean-Baptiste attempts to land a left uppercut, but Griff blocks the shot and counters with a left hook.  
Griff drives a solid left hook into Jean-Baptiste's body.  
Griff quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands a left hook to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  
Griff switches the action to the outside and lands a cross followed by a overhand left to his opponents head.  He then lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Griff lands a double jab to his opponents head.  He continues the combination and lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Griff attempts to land a jab, but Jean-Baptiste slips the shot and counters with a cross.  
Jean-Baptiste lands a left hook.  
Griff is looking to keep his distance and lands a jab.  
Jean-Baptiste closes the distance.  Griff lands a left hook to the body, a right hook to the body and a right uppercut to the head, AND DROPS JEAN-BAPTISTE TO THE CANVAS!  He tries to rise on shaky legs but Jean-Baptiste cant beat the count!  The winner by KO is Griff!
