Amer Haik vs Bayard Huppert

Boxing Daily Report from the Skebenga Corp promoted show at Lekan Salami Stadium, Ibadan,  taking place on 27/02/2044:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Amer The Hellhound Haik (24(19) - 3 - 1) who hails from Zaria, Nigeria and Bayard Huppert(8(1) - 7(3)) from Abobo, Ivory Coast.  Haik weighed in at 134 pounds and 12 ounces, while Huppert weighed in at 135 pounds and 15 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Jack Adenaike, and the three ringside judges are Juwon Asonze, Olufemi Eljibril and Jay-Jay Ameobi.  

Round 1: 

Huppert is on target with a cross.

Huppert pivots from in front of his opponent.  Haik connects with a stinging right uppercut.  
Huppert sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Haik lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.  
Huppert lands a cross.  Huppert tries to land a jab, but Haik parries the shot and counters with a stinging left uppercut.  
Haik lands a left hook to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  
Haik walks Huppert into the blue corner.  Haik is on target with a firm right hook to his opponents body.  
Haik digs in a stinging left hook to Huppert's body.  Haik ties up his opponent.  Haik pushes his forearm into Huppert's face.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Haik about fouling.  
Haik attempts to land a right hook, but Huppert parries the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
Haik digs in a right hook to Huppert's body.  
Haik is on target with a left hook to Huppert's liver.  
Huppert feints a jab, and then hits home with a cross.  
Haik gets on the inside and is on target with a stinging left hook to Huppert's ribs.  Haik clinches his opponent.  Haik leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref separates the two fighters.  
Huppert sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Haik digs in a stinging right uppercut to Huppert's body.  
Haik lands a right hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents body.  
Huppert tries to land a jab, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a FIERCE cross.  HUPPERT IS HURT!  Huppert almost instantly gets his legs back.

Haik steps inside.  Haik thinks he can end the show early....he's looking to put Huppert away.  Haik lands a cross followed by a left uppercut to his opponents head.  He then lands a left hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents head, AND HUPPERT IS DOWN!  He tries to rise on shaky legs but Huppert cant beat the count!  The winner by KO is Haik!
