Jiro Shintani vs Mitsuru Shintani

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Japan-Kanagawa promoted show at Jiro Seki Gym, Yokohama,  taking place on 27/02/2044:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Japan-Kanagawa Light Flyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Jiro Shintani (2 - 0 - 1) who hails from Yokohama, Japan and Mitsuru Shintani(16 - 28 - 2) from Yokohama, Japan.  Jiro weighed in at 108 pounds, while Mitsuru weighed in at 107 pounds and 9 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Mitsuru Amari, and the three ringside judges are Hisoka Shimomura, Takeo Uchida and Nao Asa.  

Round 1: 

Jiro tries to land a cross, but Mitsuru slips the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
Mitsuru steps away from his opponent.  Jiro connects with a cross.

Jiro leans back on the ropes...he waves his opponent in!  Mitsuru is whaling away with hooks, but Jiro keeps his defence tight.  Mitsuru lands a cross.

Mitsuru lowers his hands, trying to provoke his opponent to attack.  Jiro lands a cross to his opponents body.
